We hadn't booked this hotel in advance, but we got to Dinkelsbuhl and decided to stay the night. A comfortable and very friendly place to stay in the middle of town. The guy at reception was extremely friendly and helpful Highly recommend

Stayed in Dinkelsbuhl for a few days upon arrival in Germany. The hotel has a traditional feel with updated rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. They spoke English fluently and were helpful in practicing my basic German. As it is across the street from the Church, the bells severed as a wake-up call in the mornings. The path around...

I stayed in this hotel during a recent business trip and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it is one of the 10 oldest hotels in Germany. Very cool! It had traditional german interior and it's old wooden staircase with squeaky steps added to the experience of staying in such a historical place. They also had a traditional restaurant...

Firs off, i have to mention that this hotel actually had AC, which is hard to find in these small Bavarian towns. We were a group of 6 and we stayed on the top floor. Low ceilings but pretty neat room. Had everything we needed, bathroom with shower. Stairs were a little tricky. Everything was clean and we enjoyed our...

In this fairytale place this hotel was the definition of quaint and lovely. The rooms are small but comfortable warm and homely. The staff are friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Continental breakfast fantastic and a great exemplar of the german tradition full until finding a haus in the town or a very long bratwurst in the Christmas markets. The town is...

An extremely charming place and well suited to the town. The staff were very friendly and the room very comfortable. The floor boards are soft and the stairs have a lean - which I think adds character. If you're chasing a modern, shiny hotel this one's not for you.

We stayed here for one night as we were driving along the Romantic Road. My husband and I loved it but our kids didn't - we did have the nicer room though and they couldn't get wi-fi! We stayed in the main Hotel and our two rooms were just off the main reception area. It's packed full of character and...

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay! We´re just setting up a whole new WiFi system to provide better connections and signal strengh (some walls of our 500 year old Hotel are one meter thick!) so we had to turn it off a few times. We like to apologise...

All the buildings in this small town look like this and are covered in flowers. Having discovered we were booked into the annex, we settled for the main building-for a fee- and had an extremely comfortable room and bathroom overlooking the square and the rather noisy church. We received a friendly reception and the service at dinner, which we ate...

We chose the hotel based on the location on our route North from Munich. And what a surprise. The hotel is placed on the main square of the small town which is an old historical town. There is parking available in two court yards which was perfect for us. The room we got was in the second building just 10-20...
