It would have been a 5/5 experience if one of my shirts would not have been stolen. I am disappointed both with the fact that I never thought staff would steal customers’ property in such a prestigious hotel and by the terrible customer service received when I tried to fix the issue. A shame I will never be returning here again.
This was my second time staying in the hotel. First time in October of last year for few days. We had executive suite for me mom and our service dog (German Shepard). It was really amazing with great views. Big tub and extra toilet by the entrance. It’s quite loud outside especially at night (people are partying) so we requested some fans for white noise. Great ac (goes to 17c). Bedroom and living room close off so someone can sleep on couch and use toilet by hall at night. It’s very convenient. Manager is amazing and will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible They are very dog friendly as well. Met my dog with welcome box of goodies, toys and a comfy bed. Ordered in bunch of food during stay and it was amazing. Lots of gluten free choices as well. Breakfast was out of this world! I have to start best of the best. Overall a great stay!…
This was my second stay at the Charles Hotel. My first stay was pre pandemic, I am happy to see the hotel operating with the same level of comfort, and professionalism, as before the pandemic. The rooms are especially large, and very well appointed. Cleaning services twice per day really made the room feel safe and clean. Spa services were excellent, and the steam / sauna area is a treat to enjoy. The staff, what can I say about the staff? Some of the friendliest, and most professional team that you could want at a hotel! Absolutely amazing people. A few that were especially noteworthy are: Charlotte, that works in the restaurant and bar is an absolute delight! Very welcoming and remembered us the whole trip. Hopefully a long term star at the Rocco Forte brand. Another super star is Lena at Concierge. If I didn’t know better, I would think she owned the hotel. She takes such pride in the guests stay and comfort, it is amazing. Always checking up with us on our visit, and confirming any plans she made for us were to our satisfaction. She truly ensured our trip was flawless. Claudia in Concierge was also out of this world with her willingness to go the extra mile to support our trip. Thank you all for the most enjoyable stay!…
Was at the hotel for a business trip visiting the finance team. I very much enjoyed my stay and having the opportunity to see the hotel in person and getting to know different members of staff across all departments.
Fully aware that the Charles Hotel considers itself a business hotel rather than a leisure hotel, I was expecting the usual fare for my week-long business trip in Munich... but this place is far from that. Possibly the first time I've ever stayed in a business hotel that I would happily return to for a leisure holiday trip. Huge and luxurious rooms and a fantastic spa, with top top levels of service. The only aspect that wasn't outstanding was the food offering in the restaurant for dinner, which was still quite good - and likely to be due to the reduced Covid-related footfall (and no issue when you have Wolt and other delivery services...!). I will be back several times over the coming few months!
