A friend and I drove through Europe to visit Munich, and chose this hotel based on ratings from Tripadvisor. We stayed for three nights (I had room 127) and were generally satisfied with the experience. The SERVICE was excellent; the staff seem to have the policy of personal service, giving you information and seeming to care a lot about you....

I rented a room and payed for a breakfast next morning. Stayed in a single room without an air conditioner. After a scorching day I found myself in a warm room and hoped to make it through the night. The staff was exceptionally helpful and polite. Private parking - nice. Room had an average furniture, was clean, without a refrigerator...

We stayed here for only one night on our way to Italy. The welcome at reception was very friendly and informative when we arrived at 11pm. Our room and bathroom was lovely, comfortable and spotlessly clean throughout - in fact I don't think we have ever stayed in a cleaner hotel ever. We paid extra for breakfast which we were...

We were quite pleased with this hotel. Although the room was a little warmer than we would like, it was comfortable and very clean. We received a friendly welcome and found the staff to be very helpful. The breakfast was good and an excellent value for the money. For those who want a more quiet stay with easy accessibility to...

This hotel was even nicer than we expected... a little gem tucked away from the city. I would not recommend it if you're on a tight schedule or traveling alone because it was further away from Munich than expected. However, if you're looking for a retreat in a quaint location, then this is it. The customer service was excellent. The...

We stayed at this beautiful hotel last summer on a trip to Germany and absolutely loved it. Don't be deterred by the fact that it's not in city centre. The S bahn is very close by and parking onsite makes it easy to have a car and travel through Bavaria. The owners were fantastic, breakfast was delicious and the rooms...

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Munich. It is about a 5 minute walk to the S bahn station, which runs every 20 minutes (on weekends) into the center of Munich. The train ride into the center of town takes less than 15 minutes. We were able to buy tickets directly from the front desk. The rooms were...

Myself and three friends stayed at the Grunwald for two nights whilst visiting the Christmas Markets in Munich. It was my first visit to Germany and I cannot speak highly enough of the friendly and very accommodating people. We travelled from the airport by train and purchased a group ticket from the station for 21 euros for up to 5...

We recently traveled to Munich for a short get away and the Christmas markets. We stayed at this hotel and all I can say is FANTASTIC experience. We booked the hotel less than 1 week before we left the US. It is a small, family run for over 100 years. it was an easy 5 minute walk from the Aubing...

The hotel is only 7 stops from Munich central station in a lovely village setting. It is family run, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the breakfast is excellent. The family will go out of their way to be helpful, they printed out train timetables for us which saved us a lot of time for connections we needed at the central...
