One receptionist was the not very friendly and did not want to cash, probably because it was late. We booked a room for 3 but we had only a double bed ready. Breakfast is fine, rooms are big, toilets separeted from bath, not very handy.
We spend new years eve at the Novotel the price for a night was very good and so was the room. The only negative side was the toilet which reeked a little. We parked our car underneath the hotel for a reasonable price
Very friendly customer service and comfortable rooms ,..prime location for easy access to all transportation. All necessary kitchen accessories available and its very user friendly, and above all kids enjoyed a lot with stay at Novotel hotel..
Nice hotel with a very big room. Very big bed too. The breakfast buffet is big and you can find everything what you need. Parking in the garage is very difficult if you have a big car. Suggest to park outside which is cheaper and if you are luky than you find a place which is free of charge.
We were rebooked to this hotel, due to the closure of our originally booked one. The staff was friendly, everything was clean and comfortable and the location is good, too. The Englischer Garten is nearby and you can easily go to the city center by bus or tram. You can also find a supermarket and small restaurants in the surrounding area. There also is a MVGO rental bike station nearby. We used the fitness room, which is small, but modern, everything was working and it's enough for a good workout. Mind that free parking is not available nearby. Besides that, the hotel interior is a little outdated, especially some parts of the rooms interior have seen better days. A refurbishment should be on the managements to do list. Nonetheless the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
We came at beginning of June. The hotel lake personal, the floor the outside area and the elevator show marks that nobody cleaned there for at least couple of hours. As it is corona times some guests carry the food to their rooms , but nobody cleans the elevator for more than 8 hours after rest of food fell on the floor. Rooms are also only cleaned during weekdays and not weekend. We are fully understand the situation and the restrictions but , I think it is was too much, if they decided to open the hotel then the basic services (cleaning , and especially during corona time) should be there. The personal are friendly and willing to help, always were there with a smile. Rooms, well , you get what you pay. Don't expect fancy hotel, it is not. But for the price we paid we can't complain. …
Just different times I was in that hotel which is very good. Rooms are big and clean as well as the bathroom. Room has everything what you need. Internet is very good and quick. Only problem today is the breakfast which is strange because of covid. Instead of a nice buffet you get only a plate with what you have ordered the day before.
This was my second stay at the hotel, and my opinion is still that it’s acceptable, but completely average. The location is good for the local employers, but that’s about it - I would not stay here as a tourist. A taxi from the airport is about 65 Euros. It’s an older hotel, and whilst the rooms are clean (and the bed extra comfortable!), the layout is odd. The toilet is separate and around the corner from the tub/shower, and both rooms are elevate so you feel like you are on an airplane or something. The room also smells a little stale ... I needed to open the windows a bit to give it some circulation in the winter. Although I stayed for 4 nights, I only used e housekeeping for one night, and it was disappointing - they emptied the trash bins, but did not replace the liners. And they disregarded the hotel’s environmental policy, replacing all my towels even though I had them hanging on the rails. (The sign said that only towels in the tub or shower would be replaced.) I also thought the front desk staff could have been a bit more friendly at check in - and it was frustrating to learn at check out that even though I was told when I arrived that my loyalty number was on my reservation, low and behold it was not. And I don’t even have a loyalty number for Novotel! And you have to pay at check-in.…
I have enjoyed staying in Novotel suits for 10 days with my family. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were specious and cozy with good facilities kettle and microwave. The location is very good in quite zone and easy accessible with free parking in the street. The disappointing issue was that they stated in my reservation terms -as long stay- is included A Smart car (or a similar vehicle) is provided for a maximum of 4 hours per day for each room of my 2 rooms; petrol is included. When I asked the reception staff for the vehicles, they told me it is not provided any more although I showed her the reservation confirmation email. I sent 2 emails to Accor customers service with no response.
First time in Germany, service at the from Desk was great, Ana from Spain was very helpful, breakfast es good, near public transportation, rental car around the block and the Olympic area. If you ever go to Munich this can be a good choice
