Modern Four Star Business Hotel servicing a commercial business park. 9 mins from the nearest metro station and not much else nearby in terms of restauants and bars. Pros: 1. Good Value best suited for solo traveller on Business visiting a company within the environs. 2. Powerful Shower 3. Taxis always available from the stand outside 4. Good Breakfast spread including Eggs to Order Cons: 1. Curtains are NOT Blackout – bring an eye mask! 2. Pillows too Soft, had to ask for an extra, still too soft, had to prop up with a stack of clothes 3. No Compliementary Bottled Water, nor a Kettle or Tea/Coffee facilities 4. No Iron in Room 5. Socket on desk was German standard socket only, not catering to international travellers. Thankfully I travel with an adapter. Would I stay here again? Probably not as location is quite isolated with not much else nearby.…
Whilst the hotel is lovely with friendly staff and very clean modern rooms befitting a chain hotel and a decent selection of breakfast, there are a few caveats. First off, as some have mentioned, the wifi connection is on/off, with speeds that fluctuate quite a bit throughout the day so if you are here for work, it might be an issue. Secondly, and to be honest my biggest peeve here is that they force you to pay for drinking water. 2.50 euros for a small 0.25 litres of water. The only alternative is to walk to the gas station about 5 minutes away. It boggles my mind how a hotel charging over a hundred euros a night can do such a thing. and lastly, if you are planning to travel into town often, it might not be the best choice given it's not just quite a distance from the main shopping districts, it is also quite a bit of a walk to the nearest train station. So that might be an issue for some. Would I return? Given a choice, not likely.…
Lovely stay for a work trip, good location and all very friendly. The bathrooms were clean and showers great. Also a great restaurant and bar in the hotel if you don't want to venture out. Would recommend for a relaxing stay
Not my first time but again the poor Wifi connection was a pain and headache during my 2 nights stay. The connection quality and status was not even allowing any portal access nor audio call / meetings via Microsoft Teams.
Stayed for business 2 days. Card key not working, replaced cards key not working, classic metal key (finally) working. 20th century solution but at least I was able to enter my room. Similar card key problems with my colleague who also stayed in the hotel. Reception must be aware of the issues with room doors and card key - they were super friendly. Wi-Fi in the room very poor (below 5MBps), I had to use my LTE roaming to get some work done. You can't open the windows - i missed fresh air during the sleep. No safe, just drawer with a pretty simple key (seems you could open it with a paper clip). Restaurant food and service were very good (salmon was excellent), breakfast had many options with excellent German rolls and pretty good coffee. If not the proximity of the office (50m, next building), I would probably not return there.…
