Airco doesn't work properly due to some energy saving issue with the controls. It's no good having airco that doesn't work and it's 33 C outside. Also, bit more attention to maintenance needed in the room.
Great place to stay in München. Very nice place. The breakfast was great. European style but also included scrambled eggs. We were very pleased with the service. The Check-in clerk spoke English as well.
I was here from North America for a conference. As usual, I was jet lagged, and as usual, I woke up at 2 AM very hungry. Much less usual, though, at this hotel I could pull on a sweater and head downstairs for a middle of the night snack! Loved that! This place is not super fancy, and the rooms are pretty small, but it is attached to an H4 that has a nice lounge. Easy walk to the conference centre. This is not particularly close to the centre of Munich though, surprisingly far out, though right on the U2 train line. So some conference attendees might prefer staying downtown, where's it's probably more interesting, and traveling by train out to the conference centre. If I had realized how far outside the city the conference centre is, I might have considered doing this, staying downtown. But hey. Good price. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean. Really it was quite fine.…
Very easy acces to city centre with the u bahn, super price quality ratio, very clean, very fresh, quiet area, healthy breakfast, with a very friendly staff. Already my second time here and I will definetely will come back.
My room was small but clean and the breakfast was good. Every interaction I had with the staf was friendly and effcient - no complaints. My particular room had an issue (114) which impacted my stay. On my second night, a green light started blnking on an internal door that either led to the room next door or HVAC/Plumbing. I came down in the morning (wasn't going to do in middle of the night) and informed the front desk who apologized and said it would be handled immediately. My third night the light was still blinking. Being here for work - this greatly impacted my sleep as I could see it clearly from the bed. Not wanting to come off as the stereotypical loud and pushy American, I informed them quitely the problem hadn't been fixed. Saying it would be fixed again, on my final night, the light was much dimmer but still there. Looking back I should have demanded to be moved to another room but I was too busy with work. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, it is right next to the location of my trade show with restaurants, the subway, and shopping down the street. You can get to the city center in 25 minutes. Very friendly staff. My situation was unique and I should have pushed the issue more as, given the events in town, it wasn’t a cheap stay.…
Stayed here as part of the tour package for Beyond Band of Brothers Tour. Rooms were very small, but clean. The included breakfast was ok, but the staff was withholding eggs due to other group of security staying in hotel at same time for Oktoberfest I believe.
This hotel is adequate, but certainly nothing more. Rooms are very small and tight - it’s difficult find a place to put a suitcase. The rooms were clean. Air conditioning is woefully inadequate, but each room has a window that you can open. If you need basic accommodations, this would be fine for a few days.
This hotel ended up being out of the way for us, but it was very close to a mall and the subway. We enjoyed seeing the welcome to the hotel on our TV after a friendly check in. There were hairs in a few places when we checked in but we just cleaned them up since we were weary from traveling that day. The breakfast was good and plentiful each day. We missed not having a safe, tissues, or frig in the room. There was one shampoo product and the shower always clunked when we opened the door. One of the most convenient things was their restaurant. We ate burgers there twice and salads once (we thought the burgers were a better value than the salads). We also got wraps to take on an excursion one day. There’s a little park across the street which was nice to walk to.
We sleeping there 2 nights and we are very ok! But only one thing! If you need to eat when you arrive after 8:00pm I propose you to go and eat 500meter from the hotel to the restaurant THI MIN Vietnam restaurant! Because the brasserie in hotel H4 is not good!!!
This hotel is located in Messe München (Convention area) and close to the convention centres and exhibition spaces. The hotel is within walking distance of Messestadt West metro and a short bus ride to Riem metro station. The staff were friendly and helpful with smooth check in. I thought the rooms were much smaller than I thought they would be for the price paid. My room was advertised as a double but had two singles pushed together. The hotel seems popular with family groups and tour groups, there is not much here for the business traveller except convient access to the convention centres. There is restaurant that serves simple dishes, snacks and drinks. Reasonable prices. Breakfast is continental style and gets quite busy in the morning.
