Check in took a bit longer because their computer crashed, bedding was not done properly but Katharina at reception - a real jewel of effective and supportive staff - solved it and as compensation gave us a voucher for a drink. The mattress a bit too soft for me, same for the pillows, the duvets were so-so. Excellent breakfast buffet, plenty of choices, and very attentive and friendly staff. The location is very good, near a bus stop and about 150 meters to S- and U-Bahn. Supermarket, bakery and other shops can be found nearby. The biggest plus is the staff, Katharina at reception, the ladies at the bar, and the staff at breakfast.
We stayed this holiday inn hotel for 2 night. So far it has had the best of all holiday inns ever. We had a little of issues while we checked in due to the online pre-booked card payment. The receptionist, Katharina solved the problem tactfully and professionally. She was not afraid of facing an issue from customers. In other words, her service attitude and passion of the hospitality deserve a praise. Also, we stayed at a bar the first night. We ordered 2 house wines + 2 round of cocktails. To be fair, the two bar staff members worked really hard to satisfy all the customers’ needs especially during the busy hours on Saturday night. We are really satisfied with their professional services. We had a terrific stay for 2 nights. Thank you.
We stayed in an executive room (341) for three nights. I’ve no idea what makes this an executive room and even queried if we’d been given the right room! There was one bathrobe & slippers between the two of us but can’t believe that makes it executive?! I’ve seen mention of a minibar and voucher but we had neither even after asking… The bed was very hard which meant we slept poorly, a shame as typically these chain hotels are fairly consistent. The room was very quiet and you could open windows which I really liked. The shower was really good but the towels well past their best and a bit threadbare. Breakfast was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. I don’t know what makes German yoghurt so good but it was amongst the best I’ve had 🤗 The location suited us, a few minutes walk and then five stops to the city Center. Given how uncomfortable the bed was we wouldn’t stay again which is a shame as it ticked a lot of boxes.…
All staffs I met in this property are very friendly and professional. Room is clean, spacious with good wifi and strong shower. The only improvement needed would be the bed and pillow sheets that could be a little bit softer. Breakfast was one of the best I had in a Holiday Inn property with very good spread of hot and cold options of very decent quality and taste very good. Staffs in the restaurant are very efficient in replenishing the food and collecting used plates during my stay in the hotel. Overall it is an excellent hotel that worth my 20 minutes travel from downtown. Use bus 54 to/from Harras if you don't want to walk. Regional trains and S-bahn from Harras are both frequent enough to get you to the downtown.
By far the most prepared hotel to receive our group of 23 people. Check in was a breeze. The rooms are clean, modern and have every amenity you need and spacious enough. So very conviently located 2 mins walk to the train which takes you to city centre in 15 mins. Shops near by and restaurants. Conference was nice with ample floor sockets and space. Staff are very helpful.
We arrived late at night but were greeted by a friendly staff member in the lobby. They dutifully respect the coronavirus safety measures and wearing a mask is obliged. The rooms were very comfortable and lots of necessities were readily available. The night before we had to tell the staff which breakfast option we wanted due to the closure of the Breakfast buffet to retain the COVID-19 measures. The Breakfast we got was satisfactory and could replace the buffets quality. Overall, a very recommendable stay especially for businessmen.
This is my second year running staying in this lovely hotel. I stayed here for a week with my 2 sons aged 12 and 10. We absolutely love it. It is in a great location as it is near the train station and buses. But most importantly the staff are unbelievably amazing. We were greeted by a lovely lady who kindly upgraded us as it was our second time staying here, the room was huge, clean, modern and had a balcony. I also want to praise Mo and Dennis who were incredibly chatty and friendly. Pascal was also amazing at breakfast time. In all of the hotels i have stayed in, in my entire life, this hotel is definitely the best, and it is the staff that make me feel this way. They are just so friendly and kind. So to summarise, Germany is the best country, Munich is the best city and the staff at this Holiday Inn are the best. We can't wait to return next year. …
Pascal thank you for the amazing welcome=we have stayed another of times&you have been the only one to go out of your way to ensure all our needs were met-disappointed That others were not so obliging
Terrible service at the front desk with all employees that I met during my stay of 10 days. They seem trained to be rude, unfriendly and helpless. Pity for a comfortable and convenient hotel, which otherwise is fine.
Travelling with friends so we needed a hotel easily accessible to S-Bahn so we could have easy access to Munich Central HbF. Although rooms might be considered as cosy they are very clean and quiet. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast in the rate which was found to be very substantial and satisfying. Staff at front desk are multilingual, efficient, friendly and really define helpful.
