Despite my better efforts at trip coordination and planning from stateside, our Bavarian vacation almost did not start well. I arrived in Munich not having confirmed my reservation at the Blauer Bock. However, with their English-speaking day manager ready to help, the Blauer Bock found us two rooms at the almost fully-booked hotel. We stayed for two nights in very...

Typical European inner city hotel -- small, but adequate and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast, Wifi was ok. Hotel is in the middle of the city -- easy access to transit systems, tons of good restaurants, museums, etc.

Stayed here for 4 nights in April. Pros : very conviently located. 5 minutes walk to Marientplaz station and lots of food around, with Viktualienmart just round the corner. Cons : please make sure you request a room that doesn't face Eataly, else you will have an automatic alarm clock. This side faces the road where buses also ply. But...

We stayed at the Blauer Bock for two nights, choosing it based on good TripAdvisor reviews, proximity to the city centre and value pricing. We arrived into Munich by train and the hotel was reasonably close to the station. Our check-in was friendly enough and our room, though small, was comfortable and clean. The location was great for us as...

This hotel is right across from Eatly with lots of restaurants. They have parking available underground for 22 euro a day. (The other lots were 28, so it is a better deal.). We were on the first floor, but the bathroom was on the second floor... that was a bit of a pain. There were no bottles of water or...

Sorry this review is a little late. We stayed at this lovely old hotel in December during our Europe Christmas market trip. The location can not be beat. You are basically 3 minutes walk from Marienplatz and the subway. We had a very comfortable room with a decent sized bathroom. The breakfast was continental with enough to fill you up....

Bauer Bock is a centrally located hotel in Munich's old town. We had originally booked a hotel on a busier street, and were happy to have moved our reservation to Blauer Bock due to its quiet location. It sits on a neat little square next to the Jewish Quarter within just minutes walk to ALL the main attractions in the...

Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Very updated room. Room was small, but bathroom for Europe was nice size. Room numbering was a little confusing, but overall the service was friendly and accommodating and the room was very clean. Bed was very firm which is fine for me, but maybe not for some. Stored my luggage after check-out while doing some...

We did a 10 day trip around Bavaria, staying in about 7 different hotels. This was our least favorite. That's not to say it was a bad hotel, just expensive for what you got. The room was very small. We were in room 11, specifically. It faced the street and it was on the first floor. It was very loud....

Dear "Tyler T", thank you for your feedback. It is a pity, that you did not enjoy your stay. We are located directly in the city center, so there is no possibility for totally quiet rooms, but you could have told us, that you wish to have another room after your first night. There are some rooms, that face the...
