We stayed at the Prinzregent during our trip to Munich for the Christmas markets and the hotel far exceeded our expectations. From the decor, wonderful staff, accommodations and proximity to the train station- it was the most wonderful experience. The restaurant is fantastic as well. Food is delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We loved it and would stay again when in Munich.

I loved the place; the rooms, the staff was professional and kind and helpful; Close to ICM. Not good for someone who wants to stay close to city centre though. The problem- the only problem- for me was the Internet; the WIFI kept asking for username and password all the time and others had similar experience. Please resolve this and you rock. Merry Christmas.

Awesome countryside style hotel at Riem, which is 20 minutes away from Marieplaz with S2 local train. There is not that much to do nearby hotel (or at least we didn’t find that much things to do) but the hotel itself is lovely and its restaurant and beer garden are very calm. Food was very delicious. Especially breakfast was great. The variety of choices was large containing everything from salty to sweetie. They even serve the breakfast until 14:00 o'clock on weekends. Rooms are big enough and very quiet. They have excellent green policy and they don’t clean your room nor change the towels every day if you don’t want that! They even praise you if you give the nature ”rest” Big thumb up!! Beds were very comfy and they have quite wide selection of pillows if you don’t like standard ones.

Excellent stay for the second time, staff are really good espesially schultz who was exceptionally helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the hotel has free wifi that works. Parking is free if you use the courtyard at the front but you have to pay to use the underground car park. The nearest train is about 5 mins walk and you can get tickets from reception, they work on all public transport. Only slight downside for us was we used to sit in the rear courtyard on our previous visit in the evening but this is not allowed anymore. Bar area is nice and the barman very good. Everyone speaks good English, they put us to shame.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our last leg of our EU trip. The place was super cute but lacked some amenities like a pool or spa type area. The toiletries were a bit lacking as well, only having body & shampoo combo and lotion, no separate shampoo and conditioner which forced us to go out and buy some since we ran out. The shower was terrible, the head leaked and would occasionally turn very hot and burnt my hand. It was an excellent location with the train being a 5 min walk away and a grocery store a 5 min drive away. Breakfast was just average, food was the same each day and most of the “hot” stuff was cold. Overall a great stopping point in Munich but I wouldn’t want to stay for a week long vacation.
