This was a fantastic hotel. So elegant and comfortable.Breakfast was a real treat on a 3 tier dish and freshly cooked eggs. The staff were incredible. My daughter needed to send extra luggage on to England and they went out to buy packing tape, minded the luggage and assisted in sending it on. Loved every minute of stay.

Room pokey no full curtain only net to block light out. Smallest bathroom ever seen in all my travels. Breakfast quirky no menu therefore didn't know what on offer.but anything asked for did arrive at table. Very chipped crockery.

Wonderfully central (just outside the Altstadt), beautifully quiet, delightful service. This place - not inexpensive - nevertheless represents really good boutique hotel value. Spacious rooms. Gracious and helpful staff. We have often stayed in a room overlooking the street, but it's so peaceful you can easily sleep with the window open. Breakfast is served in the downstairs lounge area -...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel along with our daughter and her partner. We had rooms 26 and 36. Both rooms were extremely comfortable and very clean. The bathrooms were compact but extremely well designed-and had all that you needed including a very good power shower. The staff were all very friendly and helpful...

This was a great experience, the hotel is situated in a very quite area although in walking distance from a lot of attractions. Rooms are very spacious and bathrooms great. Breakfast is great and the hotel owns two great restaurants just 100 meters away, the food and atmosphere was brilliant. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, I can truly recommend...

Please note that I did enjoy this hotel for many reasons: the staff, the location and the breakfast are all excellent. The condition of the hotel stairways, carpets and room wall cleanliness is poor. Worn carpets sorely in need of repair. Room walls and cupboard doors and room doors all needed a good cleaning. Bed and bedding fine, but when...

I travelled in business and was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it's situated on a quiet street while still only being a stones through from the centre of Munich. First impressions upon entering were how classic and beautiful the hotel were, the staff on reception were extremely friendly and helpful (and even offered to help me practice my German!)...

Stayed on an overnight visit to Munich, and found the hotel to be as impressive as it appears on the website. Particular attention and credit to the staff, in particular, Michael at reception: welcoming; knowledgable and massively helpful, above and beyond the regular efforts!

One of the most elegant, chic hotels I've visited in Europe. Centrally located in a quiet, well-maintained neighborhood, just a quick 10 minute walk into the heart of the old town. Upon arrival, the reception team was fantastic - extremely friendly, knowledgeable and graciously answered our questions as first-timers to the city. The rooms are beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and...

Hotel Opera is a classic, quiet, clean and beautifully appointed hotel just outside the 'pedestrian area' of Munich. A wonderful location in a charming neighborhood of small restaurants and shops, yet 10 minutes walk to Marienplatz. Helpful staff, infinitely polite and fluent in English and other languages. We highly recommend this hotel!
