I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very helpful and gave me a warm welcome when I got there. The room was clean and comfortable - nothing fancy, but very comfortable. The breakfast was the same - basic but sufficient. It's a good value. The neighborhood around the hostel isn't very scenic and looks a bit sketchy, at first...

My friend and I stayed here in a double room during our time in Munich. The staff was very kind and the quality of the facility and amenities was very good and clean. The breakfast buffet was very good as well. There is no Wi fi in the rooms but the internet works well in the lobby area. Would highly...

Got there but the internet NEVER worked. I stayed there right before Oktoberfest because I was going to camp at Oktoberfest. You have to pay for internet in the rooms, which also never worked. The breakfast is cold breakfast and it's tasty, the bathrooms are shared so make sure you wake up early so you don't get the nasty leftover...

The reception staff we met during our stay were nice, especially one young woman (blonde hair) who was beyond helpful! We arrived at the YMCA early in the morning as we had been on an overnight bus from Prague, the lovely blonde lady on reception allowed us to sit in a room downstairs with comfortable couches whilst we waited for...

Hostel was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was simple but good. Biggest plus side is that it is so close to the main train station, but is in the red light district with lots of sex shops and strip clubs, not a good area to walk around in at night. A little bit strange ambiance as I am used to...

Very clean, helpful English speaking staff and excellent free breakfast! Located right by the train station and easy to get to the festival from the hostel. I will definitely be staying at the cvjm again next Octoberfest.

The Munich YMCA was clean, basic, and centrally located. The rooms were spotless with fresh, crisp sheets. (I had a double room.) They also had deep, round sinks with stoppers, a wide mirror, and plenty of counter space. There was no A/C, but the huge windows tilt and open wide with the proper position of the handle. The shared showers...

Location is 5minutes to the train station and around 10-15minutes to city centre. The road from the station to the accomodation are full of strip clubs and sex shops but the area still felt safe enough. Triple room was a good size and very clean as were the bathrooms and showers. Staff very friendly and helpful. Property is very secure....

Quite impolitе and rude receptionists who afford to shout at the guests, when you ask them to give the key. Michaela Lumara and her colleagues are pretty nervous and hysterical that does not correspond to the Christian orientation of the hostel. Also the central heating didn't work in November. Wouldn't recommend to stay there.

In Munich to see friends and visit the Weihnachtmarkt this was a good spot to start your day. Centrally located, 5-7 minutes walk to the Hauptbahnhof where you can pick up the S-bahn for the airport- about a 40 min ride and 11Eu or take the U-bahn to other parts of the city. There are also trams close by. The...
