Although the location and daily breakfast is great, my room with two beds for two people was not good. I looked at several rooms and found that all the rooms are very small, there is no carpet or area rugs, a lot of noise from the street and other tenants, the shower flooded the bathroom floor, and no lift. The...

I found the Pension Seibel to be a great place to stay. The location can't be beat, with the Viktualienmarkt only a block away and Marienplatz only a few blocks further. The room was small, as expected, but very clean. The breakfast was adequate, and typical of pensions and B&B's. It is very inexpensive, especially considering the many activities within...

Overall, this was not a good hotel/pension. PROS: great location in the center of Munich, fairly quiet, good buffet breakfast. CONS: run down and cramped rooms, bathroom was small and had paint peeling from parts of it. This is a mediocre budget choice and I would think of looking elsewhere

Location is wonderful - In the heart of Munich, walking distance to beer gardens, churchs and English Gardens. We had a room on the 4th floor with no lift. This meant carrying luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Office is on the 2nd floor through the breakfest area. Quite confusing. Request a room in the back. Our room was facing...

Steps from a large market with a great beer garden filled with friendly locals, we loved the location. We had a very quiet small room facing the back courtyard. Breakfast was a large assortment of german foods. Friendly helpful staff.

The Pension Seibel is located in a fantastic location just a block from the open-air market. Only a short two block walk from there to the Marienplatz. The staff was friendly and the room was nice but VERY small. However, for the price we didn't mind. The bathrooms could be a bit cleaner - but not the point where we...

I've stayed at the Pension Siebel a number of times in each season and have found it to be a great way to experience Munich. It is walking distance to most every point of interest. It is not an overdone 4-star resort, it's like visiting your German cousins. The rooms are basic, but most certainly have all the necessities. I...

Stayed 2 separate times this past summer during a single trip. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The room was small, but we were cramming 3 people in there! It is super-convenient to the Marienplatz and Deutsches Museum. When we return to Munich we will definitely stay here again.

The Pension Seibel was our worst accomodation. The rooms were devoid of pictures or any decoration whatsoever, the shower was a joke, the sheets were stained, the pillows were totally flat, and the proprietor would not honor the room rate that was arranged through Orbitz.

Went to Germany to see the Christmas Markets. Picked Pension Seibel for its economical price and good location. Hotel is approximately 1 city block from the viktualienmarkt (food market) off of the Marienplatz. After finding the hotel, I had to carry my bags up four flights of stairs since they did not have an elevator. I had little interaction with...
