My wife and I stayed 3 nights. May 12th to May 15th. We wanted a hotel close to the Hauptbahnhof, and we got it. Just across the street, and maybe a 3 block walk towards the Hackerbrucke. An easy walk with luggage. Check in, and check out, went very well. The several employees we made contact with during our stay were all very nice. They have some very good employees working the front desk. Our room was up a floor, an easy elevator ride up. Our room was clean, comfortable, looked and smelled good. The room was big enough for us. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and worked fine. Air conditioning worked well. The breakfast room was very nice. On the first floor, it reminded me of prior breakfast rooms I have visited in Germany since 1979. Classic, and I love it. The breakfast attendant was wonderful! What a nice lady. And yes, the breakfast was very yummy. You can buy simple transit tickets at the front desk. We did, and it worked out very well. The tram stop is just outside the front door of the hotel. We had a wonderful visit. We would absolutely stay there again.…
This small hotel is well situated near to the central station and walking distance to shops restaurants and the old town. We received a warm welcome and we’re pleased with the space and quality of the room. Comfy beds and very clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and even catered for vegan and vegan and vegetarian options. Overall a great hotel and we would certainly stay again
We have been in this very nice hotel for two nights. The room is spacious and clean, the breakfast generous, the personal and location are perfect! It is the first time we are satisfied with a hotel in Munich. Hence the title of my review! A parking place is also offered for 9€ per 24 hours. Just perfect!
We stayed there for one night but we wish we stayed longer. First of all, the staff was very nice. Christos welcomed us with a smile and very clear explanations about the services of the hotel. We have been upgraded in a room with private bathroom, and everything was very clean. Although we had a room street-sided, there was no noise during the night, we slept very good! The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. If we come back to Munich, we'll stay there again!
We choose this hotel because it was close to the train station and where we were going to pick-up our rental car. All the hotel Staff was amazing! The hotel was clean and quiet and was more than adequate. The breakfast was more than enough to satisfy anyone with breads, chesses, meat, yogurt, fruit and eggs to order, coffee. tea and juice. We were within a 25 minute walk to the Marienplatz. We felt very safe in the area and walked everywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
Stayed 2 nights. Originally we had booked the Family room which is basically 2 connected rooms but we we were shown to rooms which were not connected. We asked why we did not get the room we had booked but the staff was unable to explain to us. Later when we went down to the recep, we were told by the person- in-charge that there is a strong demand for family rooms and they have given our room to families with small children. In exchange the hotel upgraded us to the larger superior rooms which comes with an additional sofa. The hotel is very old-style eg rooms have to be locked with physical keys (even when you are inside the room, you need to lock the door with the key) which you have to leave at the recep when you go out. You have to pay a deposit if you require a kettle or hair dryer. The bathroom only has a 2-in-1 body/hair shampoo, no body lotion, no fridge, but has a safe. The breakfast is simple but good enough for us. However due to the lack of staff, food is replenished quite slowly. The hotel practises good hygiene eg many of the breakfast items are served in small plates and cling-wrapped. The hotel is 7min from the train station and there is a tram stop in front of the hotel. Next to the hotel, there are 3 restaurants -Asian and Italian - which are opened till 10pm. We tried the italian restaurant, it was good. Parking is in a separate building a few doors away. The staff is friendly. On our departure day, they gifted us large ginger bread momentos which was very thoughtful. There is no guest laundry room in the hotel. …
This hotel is in walking distance from the Munich railway station, but it is quiet. We had a superior rooms with connecting doors, which was great with two bigger children. Both rooms had a bathroom and separate toilet. The rooms were quite big and you could easily find space for your luggage. The breakfast was ok! I found the hotel a bit dated, but it did not bother us. But if you are looking for new hotel, this is not for you.
I have booked this hotel for the third time in 4 years, and once again the service was excellent from start to finish. Reception and kitchen/breakfast staff were all so helpful, and health / Covid-protection measures were greatly observed. Rooms and hotel in general are always clean, sanitizers also handy. Breakfast food was fresh genuine and abundant everyday! I will surely return to this hotel and highly recommend it! Thank you once again for a very pleasant stay!
I had a great stay at Hotel Jedermann during my transition from living in Munich to moving back to the US. While the hotel itself is dated in appearance, it was extremely clean and well-kept. I didn't feel like I was staying in a run-down hotel, which can often be the risk with hotels located so close to Oktoberfest grounds. I was comfortable and taken care of from start to finish. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive, and I was impressed with the breakfast which was included. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a nice central location, close to transportation and cultural activities, with quaint Bavarian flair.
The staff at Hotel Jedermann took very good care of me. Great value. Wonderful breakfast. Clean, bright and quiet room with TV and hairdryer. Exceeded my expectations. Conveniently located near to the central station.
