Convenient hotel but not a good locality. Close to both Hauptbahnhof( main train station ) and Altstadt (old town square) The neighbourhood was very disappointing, making it a bad experience. No complaints with the hotel. Nothing fancy very basic.
We liked the hotel. It is a 5 min. walk to the train station and an easy walk to the old town square. The room was clean and very quiet. The breakfast was very good, one of the better buffets we had on our trip....More

Take the S1 or S8 subway train in the airport station and after a 45 minute journey you will be at the Hauptbahnhof in Munich City. Exit on the South side of the station and turn left. You will see the shop sign of the C&A department store - head towards it . Look down Schillerstrasse and the Conrad is 200 yards down on your right - don't bother with a taxi it's a 4 minute walk. We love the Conrad and are sure you will too
