Never ever, some expirence like this. I was staying there from 7th till 10th of October - the last night of Oktoberfest and during the Expo Real Fair. The hotel looks clean, the personel seams to be nice, just one of the hotels similar to many other hotels in Munich - a little bit outdated and overpriced, but typical in this part of the city. Just a Munich standart. Something arround 150 EUR per night for a budget hotel. I woke up at 3 a.m. the first night in the room No. 334 bitten by the bedbugs. Something like a whole bed with a more than 20 bedbugs full of my blood. Extremelly disguested. I still can’t think about it. In the first step I checked if there is any other hotel available during my stay, of course no chance, because of the fair all hotels were overbooked. So I was visting reception to find the solution. Actually there was only one room available - 335 next to my room. Because of no alternative I decided to move there checking all my belongings for bedbugs. Of course, after my experience in the former room it was difficult to fall asleep. But actually the room was clean of any insects. The next day the receptionist apologized to me. And this was the end of any repetenance from the hotel. Thank you, After the breakfast I sow a cleaning lady trying to kill the bugs using aerosol against the all insects. Good luck! Actually bedbugs are living the space the bedhead and the wall. So this is not enough to kill them. I was staying there for the next 3 nights only because there was really no any allternative, really, just thinking of bedbugs in my bed. Im travelling a lot for the last 30 years and it was a first experience like this. The last night I came back from the business event arround 2 a.m. and I found an insect like a bedbug in my bed. Maybe the way the hotel is trying to kill the bedbugs is not efficient so there was some kind of import bedbugs from the naibourgh room. Never ever. Just forget this hotel. It is not worth any price
My wife and I checked in 19/8/18. The room was small, the weather was hot, the area is noisy and no air-conditioning available. I would recommend doing more research rather than depending on a travel agent.
This is a rather downbeat place, with very basic uncomfortable rooms, and completely uncommunicative staff, in our experience. This was part of a seven venue tour in four countries, and Germania managed to prove our worst hotel experience. Nothing you could complain about, but a very negative place. Sorry. You could try harder to empathise with your clients, and just basically cheer the place up.
The room was clean, the shower worked good, our room had the typical two beds pushed together, and they were comfortable. They do not have room service, but they do have a nice complimentary breakfast, and they do have laundry service. It is only a block from the main train station in Munich, and a 15 minute walk to Oktoberfest from here. Since the transit hub is right here you can go pretty much anywhere you want from here. There are some good places to eat very close. Our room was right next to the elevator, and with Oktoberfest in full swing, it was fairly noisy all night. It’s a busy, loud part of the city, I would suggest ear plugs if you want a good nights rest. The shower enclosure does have a very narrow entrance, if you were a very large person I don’t think you could get in there. This isn’t a five star hotel or anything, but I have stayed in way worse places than this in Germany, and for about the same price.
