Very close to Munich Central Station and to Ubahn - Sbahn - buses and Metro stations. Spacious room with daily cleaning and all the necessary comfort, but without closet. Friendly staff, very good breakfast. I consider it a very good choice.
It was a perfect 3 nights stay in this hotel at the middle of August. The hotel is just a short walk from the center and the parking was also reasonable. The welcome pack was very well prepared, basically when I tried to ask something, it was already answered :). Danke schon :) Big thanks to the front desk staff. The breakfast setting was also OK and good choices. The sleeping, the beds were also good and the room in general, too. Should we come again to Munich this hotel is perfect for us.
This Ibis is very close to the main train station in Munich and a short walk to the city center and main sights. Our room was small and basic but the shower was very good and the bed comfortable. For EUR 101 for a night, the rate was decent value.
IBIS is a cheap place so it can attract some unruly customers. I stayed here for 2 nights and did not get much sleep. First night, some customers played loud music and talked in the hall way at 2 am! Some dogs were barking around 1 am and 2 am as the hotel allows dogs. Had to notify front desk. The receptionist was quite responsive and knocked on the door of the idiot who played loud music. The staff member kept on knocking but nobody opened the door. Eventually the loud music stopped after tremendous effort. I asked to move to a different floor. It was not fun to move room around 2 am. The second night, again. some people were talking loud after mid night in the hall way and in room next door. I did not complain. The staff did what they could do. Just be aware, you might enjoy the stay if you are a good sleeper. Otherwise, the noise could last after midnight regardless you have earplugs or not. The location is quite close to the central train station. Easy to get to airport. There are some fast food restaurants near the hotel so you can grab some later dinner easily.…
Although I paid in advance in full the company took another 180 euros as a deposit. A deposit that you can normally use as bar bills etc. NOT HERE. To double the insult on the last day the company took another 180 euro for no reason reducing my cc limit by 360. I will NOT be using Ibis again The staff were excellent, breakfast super. The Room cleaner did not visit until the day we left even though we requested the waste bin changing.
Staff: The first thing the male, older receptionist said at my arrival was to comment on my "country of origin/ethnicity", actually he just "guessed" it (read: shouted it out). This might sound OK for a hotel, however, he did have my passport so he saw my citizenship, yet he still asked if I am from a certain country that differed from my passport. Personally such questions make me annoyed but I let it go since it's every now and then I get such a comment. I do not consider this as an ice breaker as it's between strangers and not in a social but business relation. There was another receptionist (female) who was quite professional and had a bit of trouble with some other guests and managed to resolve it while I was waiting to get the receipt. So the staff quality depends definitely on the person. Location: central, five minutes from the train station, five minutes to the "old center". I chose this hotel as it was nearby my point of interest. Bed: very uncomfortable. I read a review mentioning the bed before, however I dismissed it as I usually don't mind "hard" mattresses. In this case, however, the bed mattress is thin (approximately 5 cms) - the mattress is on top of some kind of sofa (pulloutbed?). Basically, you feel the thin mattress on top of the sofa which is very UNYIELDING, meaning that it's not just hard, but immoveable. So even I had trouble falling asleep. The sleepcover/blanket was quite heavy as well, which also hindered my sleep quality. Room: the standard room is small-ish. I was alone with my hand luggage and it was enough for me, but it might be too small for 2 people. The room I got was facing the inner courtyard.…
It was within walking distance of the main train station and the downtown area. The rooms were nice and exactly what we expected, if not more. The staff was really friendly. My family had a great time staying there while we visited Munich.
The Ibis Munich City is very well located very close to the main railway station. The renovations seem to have been completed since I was last there and the hotel has become a very pleasant place to stay. The staff are very helpful and professional and the room was a little above normal Ibis standards. The Internet was more than adequate and easy to use.
Good hotel located near the city center (via tram 4 stops) Room was nice and clean. Bathroom was a bit small but also clean. Service was great. I have a food allergy (lactose) and the staff helped me in getting soya yoghurt and oat milk for breakfast.
Very closed to every thing. I was lucky I had a huge room not on the street, so very quiet. I kept the windows open while sleeping. The hotel is very clean. The team is really concerned with the protective measures against the Covid.
