The room has no towels, and no phone to ask for them, I go down there is nobody at the reception. I wait and come back the guy says housekeeping is not here and this is not my job and what can I do for you, they will arrive soon. I go one hour later, same problem. I had to go three times from the fourth floor to the reception just to get some towels which should have been in the room from the start. Terrible experience and terrible staff.

Stayed here to visit the city of Munich. Great place to stay to visit city tram nearby. Room very clean excellent bathroom beds. Quiet. Breakfast caters for all choices. Easy access. Plenty places to eat nearby. One thing the air conditioning is rather nosiesy.

In the period from 10th till 12th of September hotel Europa was my home in Munich. It was a very pleasant stay with all rules to prevent the Corona pandemic from being applied. By that, I meant wearing a mask at all times once outside the room. And, secondly, the plastic gloves supplied in the restaurant to be used at the breakfast. I also was asked to present my vaccination certificate. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. A tea kettle was provided to be able to prepare some tea/coffee. There was a small problem: there were no teaspoons to be found. And this was a pity. The free WiFi was available and it work very well. Another small issue was with the remote control of the TV. It did not work well. perhaps the batteries were the problem. The breakfast was a good one and with a lot of choices to select from.I liked the breakfast very much. The personnel at the reception but also at the restaurant as well was very friendly. I am sure that I did not stay for last time in this hotel.

This hotel was great! Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Arrived way earlier than check in time from Canada (we were exhausted) they allowed us to check in early so we could take a nap! Lol Asked for more pillows due to the pillows in Europe being flat, they were delivered right away. Breakfast buffet was delicious and had a really good selection. Every evening they had free mulled wine in the lobby bar. Location was not the best and there was a lot of noise/construction but it was near by transportation so it made the location better.

We were looking for a comfy hotel near Munich’s railway station as we were arriving by train and had a business trip to Nuremburg the following day. A quick search confirmed the Hotel Europa fitted the bill nicely. All went well until we got to our room which reeked of cigarette smoke. Fortunately we could open the windows but this sort of problem does not go away quickly. You often read how hotels fine smokers who defy the NO SMOKING ROOM sign – if it was my hotel ,I would have tracked the offender down and slugged a $250 cleaning fee. Housekeeping must have known by the way - but the front desk had no idea. Not a great start. The property is reasonably modern – reminds me of an older Travelodge – and a little tired. Goodies included a fully stocked mini bar, power beside the bed, a couple of chairs and an excellent walk-in shower. The safe instructions are hard to read and there is no iron/board. There is a large lounge/restaurant/bar on the ground floor plus a garden terrace (would be a pleasant spot in summer). We relaxed and enjoyed cocktails at the lounge each evening before dinner from a very limited menu that includes salads, a curry, a burger, skewers and beef ribs. A comprehensive and very tasty breakfast is also served at the restaurant. The staff worked hard to ensure we enjoyed our stay – it’s just a pity a smoker had to spoil the experience.

I stayed here for a week. From my early morning arrival till I left I found the staff jumped to help. I paid extra for an early checkin which included breakfast. After travelling 30 hours non stop I really appreciated the option. The room was spacious and comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a good job. (The supervisor needs to avoid chastising staff loudly and publicly.) The breakfasts were very good with a wide variety of hot and cold dishes. The location is convenient. The there is public transport nearby with direct services to the main tourist areas.

This hotel had courteous staff and an excellent breakfast. Our room was spacious and they had a baby cot already placed in our room (we requested this at booking). The hotel is close to restaurants and grocery stores and is very close to a tram and metro that take you into the city center. We had a great stay!

We visited Munich to tour Christmas markets and stayed for four days. Great welcome at this hotel during this time of the year, free "Glühwein" (hot vine) from 5 to 7pm, fully recommended. Transportation stops conveniently located, as well as many supermarkets, and a very close house of beer. The hotel is clean, service very kind, we could book different tours at the front desk. Breakfast amazing, take your time to go early as there is a lot to choose. Dinner also delicious.

Nice hotel, great breakfast and the one night we ordered from the restaurant for dinner that was good too. We stayed 6 nights of christmas and the rooms were good for our stay although the ladies who do room service are quite loud and on a few mornings the sounds of them outside out bedroom door at 8am was a bit of an irritating wake up call (we were right next to the lifts and the ladies seem to keep their trolleys there and run back and forth). Hotel put on complimentary mulled wine downstairs each night in the lead up to Christmas which was nice. Spacious and clean room. It is a few minutes walk to the tram and then you can get the 21 into town (takes about 10-15mins on tram to marienplatz).

A nice hotel located a little outside the city center, but close to the tram & metro. A quite good base to explore Munich. A quite spacious hotel room with a large and very comfortable bed. The room was equipped with a fridge, TV, electric kettle, coffee and tea. Compact but nice bathroom. Very good breakfast. Not very fortunate, construction works were in progress in the street in front of the hotel during our visit. Cleaning could be better: it was 4/5 instead of 5/5.
