For the price of 46 Euro, we got a double room with breakfast for 2. The hotel is located at the base of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles and offers great views of both. The hotel is very simple but most important it's rooms are clean. We traveled with another couple and had similar adjacent rooms. They are on the small...

We stayed here for 1 night on a whirlwind trip through Germany to see the 2 castles in mid April. Can't beat this place for location and value for money. Three main things that appealed to us were the free parking, good location and staff spoke english which is much appreciated. The room itself was warm and cosy, fairly big with 2...

Stayed here for one night to tour the castles. The hotel is perfect for that. Other options in the town cost considerably more. Initially I was a bit leary as the price was so much lower. The rooms are definitely basic - spartan. However, they are very clean and the beds and linens comfortable (floors and beds did squeek). It's...

Rooms are clean and comfortable, but basic in style and amenities. Floors are a little squeaky, as I could hear the people upstairs walking around. Includes a free, German-style continental breakfast. The view from the front door, as well as any front facing rooms, is directly to the Neuschwanstein castle. The hotel is really more like a B&B, with only...

The hotel is in a great location and in 5 minute walking distance from the castle ticket office. The lobby windows afford a lovely view of the Neuschwanstein Castle and mountains around. The room was just average. It could also have been because we got the last room left with them due to our last minute booking. We stayed there one...

I booked two rooms at this hotel for one night. We were traveling with our adult children & two grandchildren. The people at this hotel are so wonderful. They will do anything to make your stay comfortable. When we checked in the lady reduced the price they had quoted on the room. The room reminded me of a farm house...

This hotel is very reasonably priced and in a good location within easy walking distance of both castles. We stayed in the guesthouse behind the main building. The room was quite small but very clean. We had a balcony with a super view of Neuschwanstein Castle. The breakfast was a bit lacking. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We booked this hotel through an on-line agency and were pleased with what we found once we arrived. The setting is bucolic. Our room had a view of the mountains and Neuschwanstein Castle, and our misty morning walk in the surrounding area brought us face to face with grazing cows wearing the iconic cowbells one thinks of for Bavaria. The...

If you want a clean basic room this is it! No tv, no refrigerator in room but backyard grass patio with the view of the castle was great. It was great to just leisurely walk around the town and try several different restaurants. Bonus: if you stay at a local hotel the castle tickets are greatly discounted, saved 25 euro...

This was the least expensive hotel w parking we could find in the village. The room w balcony was fine. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was good. Plenty of free parking. 3 minute walk to the ticket office, so you beat the crowds. The room was very quiet at night. No internet.
