Location is great and the price for it is attractive. Lots of eating and drinking options in the area. Hotel itself has nice staff, room sizes are average, breakfast variety is not what you'd expect in similar places. Downside - they only give you one room key, no matter how many people stay in the room.

Very nice location and friendly reception. I stayed in a single room but it was very basic and really small and did not worth the money I payed. I could have get a better option with the same budget. The breakfast was very basic too. They shut down the elevator at night and you have to use the stairs!!

The good: location The bad: everything else. Our room was dirty. The staff was rude. We called for a late check in and was assured it would be no problem only to be chastised upon our arrival. The overall impression is very poor. This hotel is dark, dirty, outdated and we would not recommend staying here.

Cental lovation near restaurants, bars, nightclubs (but at the same time on a relatively quite street) and the largest shopping street in the city (Konigstrasse). Also about 1km away from the Schlossplatz (main square and central museum of Baden-Wuttemberg). The rooms are small but clean, only basic amenities. No hairdrier in the room ( but you can ask for one...

I say 'strange' because a neon green was chosen to paint the walls of the rooms here. It is hideous. The rooms are tiny, but clean. Shower was average, but needs a new head. My shower spit water out at random angles. Towels were poor quality. Great location near restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Average breakfast spread.

Just returned from Stuttgart. I had booked 3 nights here about 6 weeks ago and because my flight wouldn't see me arrive at the hotel until around 10pm, I was given a pass code to punch into the keypad when I arrived to give me my keys for the hotel and room. They close reception at 6pm every day. This...

I stayed here during the yearly animation festival and found the experience to be a pleasant and comfortable one. The location was close enough to the centre for an easy walk in and out, as well as being near subway for airport connections. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. This is a fitting summation of the hotel as a...

Hotel am Wilhelmsplatz is the best choice if you plan to visit a gig at the Schlossplatz - that's what I did in August 2011 when Placebo and 30 Seconds To Mars were performng at the Mercedes Benz Festival in Stuttgart. "+" Comfortable beds, excellent location and price (close to the city centre and cheap), good choice of TV channels...

I stayed in a single room in this hotel for 3 nights in early December 2007 whilst visiting the Christmas markets in Stuttgart. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities I needed including a sofa to sit on whilst watching the cable TV and a mini bar. The room and the ensuite shower room was clean and serviced...

“Ask for a second floor, less street noise. Also note that the elevator doesn't go up to the 5th floor and the rooms (and if you want a view you'll be disappointed - the area is not picturesque and there is nothing to enjoy the view)”
