Very nice and central hotel. Walking distance to many nice pubs and also to the University and castle. The room (no 23) was clean and modern but still with a touch of authenticity with a view over the square. Perfect for 1-2 people with a couch and table. Spacious wardrobe. Highly recommended for visitors to Heidelberg.

I throughly enjoyed my two night stay at the Hotel Goldener Falke. The ground floor restaurant is excellent. This is where one checks into the hotel. The separate, outside, key entry to the hotel rooms may be used thereafter. My room (#16) was very clean, comfortable, lovely, and quiet. Breakfast is a wonderful collection of breads, cheeses, fruits, veg, yoghurt,... More

We spent a night and day in Heidelberg and this hotel helped make this a fantastic experience. We stayed on the 4 Th. floor and although the lift only goes to the third the staff helped us with our luggage. They could not have been more helpful. Our room which was more like a small apartment far exceeded our expectations.... More

The hotel is located right on a main square in the old town. The rooms are situated above the restaurant. No frills rooms, rather basic, but clean and spacious. Very friendly staff and a really great breakfast!!

If you are in Heidelberg, why not stay at a centrally located hotel (note due to Heidelberg geography the station is really a taxi ride away). But once there one is 2 mins from Bergbahn up to the romantically ruined Schloss, close to river cruises, and able to walk the huge distances of the town's main other industry (besides education:... After reading great reviews of this hotel we decided to book in here. What a good decision. Its an old pub building looking down on Heidelberg's old town square. Our room was on the 4th floor with beams and sloping ceilings and a dormer window onto the square. It was a huge room (more like a suite) with an entry... More

This hotel scores well on all points - very well located in the old town, great breakfast, free Internet, friendly staff. Our room was clean, comfortable, large and bright, on the back side of the hotel. It was right on the top floor, and there were a few ceiling beams that would get in the way of anyone over 5'... The hotel is centrally located in the old part the city with easy access to the many attractions. There is no lobby, just enter the restaurant and check in at the bar counter. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and well maintained. I had booked a single occupant room that met my basic needs. The bed... More

Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Just can't beat the location. Great breakfast and free internet. Charming and very clean room. Some other reviewers have noted that their rooms didn't have AC - Ours did. I think if you read the room descriptions before booking, you can pick one that does. I believe the rooms on the top floor have... More

This was a really nice B&B. The staff was very accommodating and helpful when it came to navigating the area. The area around this B&B is full of wonderful restaurant options and nice little shops. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this B&B. We did have a couple things that we did not enjoy during our stay. This may sound... More
