I stayed at this hotel 2 weeks ago and I can't say more thanks to the staff who work there. The arrival was pleasant. My wife and I were greeted with a wine and the reception there gave all the tips around town. I only spent 1 quick night at this hotel then moved to my next location. But that... More

A very nice hotel in a central location (ideal for public transport, with convenient and secure parking available nearby at EUR12 per day). All the staff were extremely efficient, helpful and friendly; the room was excellent (and very large), clean and comfortable - furnished in a fairly retro fashion; the breakfast was excellent with interesting different specials each day; excellent... I booked this hotel for 3 nights based on the good reviews here. I also booked parking for my rental car. When I arrived there was no parking by the hotel, not even a drop-off zone for taxis. I had to go into a nearby parking house and then drag my bags through a shopping centre before I arrived at... More

Dear Mr. P, thank you for your review. Please excuse me for any inconvenience. You are completely right, when you tell, there's no stop for taxis in front of the hotel. But there's a pavement and a bike-way, we recommend all our guests to park half/half and unload their luggage there. You also did so, because I remember your car,... More

I enjoyed my stay in the Bayrischer. Nice staff, nice room, nice food. Only downside was the lack of direction to the parking place on first arrival.

Stayed here 5 nights for a business trip. The hotel staff are wonderful and most speak fluent English. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with comfortable beds and pillows, but have a typical European starkness to them (e.g. no rugs anywhere on the wood and tile floors). The location is great, right across the street from a major public transport hub... More

This is an excellent hotel in an excellent location for visiting the city. It is easy to get to from the station. Get a tram to Bismarkplatz and it's across the road. The staff are excellent and make you feel very welcome. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast buffet is very good and will keep... More

We had a four days break from our jobs and we decided to visit Heidelberg. The Bayrischer is a training hotel so all the employs were very polite, frendly and helpful. The room was clean but a little bit small for two persons. The location excellent

We stopped here for just one night and it's walk able from the train station. The hotel is modern looking and the room was spacious & clean. It was also quiet considering there is a junction just outside. The staff are very friendly and hotel is situated at the end of the pedestrian area so it's in a good location... More

We were travelling south through Germany from Brussels and wanted to stay in or around Heidelberg. The Bayrischer is a training hotel so employs students to work throughout the hotel. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful, we were greeted with a drink and given help with directions to the main sights. Our room was clean, comfortable and although it... More

Overall experience was very good concerning the amenities and location. The hotel is right across the street of the square from which Hauptstrasse (main pedestrian area) begins. Hotel is very clean, staff is friendly. Rooms were very good and spacious. Modern furniture. Bed linen could be a bit softer, though. Small flat screen TV with many channels Great breakfast! Big...
