This place is very authentic. It is located up on a quiet mountain. If your family is the loud type, you may want to find another place as the rooms are not soundproof at all. The Frau that runs the place, along with her husband, do not speak English but she accommodates her guests very well; nonetheless, knowing basic German...

The B&B was 10km from Triberg up a narrow road and away from everything which was very nice, peaceful and fantastic views. The food was excellent, we had an evening meal which was very good, and the breakfast was also very good, great choice. The staff very friendly and very helpful, they looked after our bags after we had checked...

Stayed for a long weekend in this lovely family run inn. The hostess is so friendly and paid special attention to our 5y.o. The rooms are large and clean with excellent WiFi, especially in a remote European location. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices for everyone. Enjoyed an evening on the patio as well - perfect for board games...

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Just don't expect anything fancy in Berghof. The room was basic but very clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice and if you decide to stay for dinner you'll get honest, traditional 'Schwarzwalder' food that's prepared with care and without pretention. We were surprised to see the place was run almost entirely by a...

This hotel is located in the hills around Triberg. The owner is a very lovely woman (doesn't speak English, so a bit basic knowledge of German can help :)). The Breakfast was very tasty! The rooms are clean & spacious, but the bathroom is rather small. The Wifi works very good in all places (rooms & the restaurant) The insulation...

The hotel is located in a very nice place, with a great view . The road to the hotel is extremely narrow, wide enough for only 1 car, so complex maneuvers are required if another car comes from the opposite direction. Our room was large enough, but it was very basic. Bathroom and toilet are very small. The hotel owner...

Authentically German (no English spoken - just one roughly translated menu) Gasthof with excellent, authentic, local food. They were happy to do pizza and/or chips for kids. They very helpfully found us family rooms to suit us, making this exceptional value for money. There's plenty to do - nearby Triburg has beautiful waterfall trails where you can feed squirrels and...

After a full day at the Legoland in Gunzburg we drove more than 200 km to reach this gem. Although we were late, the legendary 'Old Lady' was there for us. She was very very helpful and welcoming. Our room was simple but in old German style. Cleanliness was better than we expected, and the beds were comfy enough for...

This traditional-style hotel is located at a secluded location, in a rural area about 10 minutes by car from Triberg. The room itself was pretty basic (I would have expected more amenities, such as tea kettle and a minibar for that price), but had a large balcony from which you can see the surroundings, which includes green mountains and forests...
