We were staying down the street at a hotel picked by our tour and we had to get our own dinner one night. We thought the restaurant was beautifully layed out and had good service. The meal was delicious and the women who took care of us was quite polite. This was in May of 2015. We had schnitzel and...

Just a few feet from the Triberg waterfall with a great outdoor seating, all covered for lunch. I had a wonderful fresh salad, and my husband had great soup. Both of us had fresh brown bread. Yummy! Tall Export beer, with menus in English and German. Highly recommend for lunch

A small hotel conveniently located across the street from the waterfall park and at the town center area. Our room was comfortable but small, likewise for the bathroom. Our balcony opened facing the waterfall park. Take the bus or taxi from the train station since the uphill walk to the hotel would be too strenuous. Even the nearest bus stop...

We stopped at Pfaff's for lunch after visiting Triberg's waterfall. Our host and waitress was very friendly and helpful, she recommended the German specials from the menu. We all enjoyed our food and the cozy ambience.

If you're walking from the main train station to the hotel, get ready for a bit of a hike as it's all uphill (it seems like everywhere you go in Triberg is uphill from wherever you are). While it's a bit of a trek from the train station, the hotel is in a great place as it's close to a...

I am just home from a short holiday to Triberg and couldn't get on line quick enough to recommend Hotel Pfaff! I have read some other reviews of this spot and I really have no idea where the bad reviews are coming from! It is located directly in front of the waterfall with great views all around. The rooms were...

This quaint family run hotel is directly across from the entrance to Triberger Falls. We got two last minute rooms, one with an end balcony facing the falls, and one on the street side. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, but what we loved most of all were the lounges outside the rooms decorated with all kinds of...

Ancient wooden houses and hotels, "Live-in" cuckoo clocks, dark forests and the highest waterfall in Germany! Pull the other leg! No, no, they exist -- in the Hansel and Grethel village of TRIBERG in the Black Forest! It's been there a long time and it's a mixture today of old timber-framed houses, hotels and restaurants clinging to the deep valley...

We've stayed here a couple of times now on our way through the Black Forest. 40 euro each for a side room. No balcony with the room, but there are a couple of large shared balconies for sitting out if you don't want to be in the bar/restaurant terrace. For 44 euro each you get a room with a private...

We landed here after our reservation at another hotel fell through. Despite arriving after 10 pm they quickly found us a room and even left the kitchen open to make us a light supper. The room was large and clean with a small en suite shower room. They have a great buffet breakfast severed in a beautifully decorated breakfast room....
