Nice and clean hotel with comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and gave us useful information about public transport. The center can be reached in 10 minutes by tram. The fare is € 2.30, but the card for 24 hours for 5 people is 11 euros. Nearby to the hotel has a pizzeria and two supermarkets. Breakfast is very...

Hotel Bischofslinde is in a nice area of Freiburg lying about 3km from the "Alt Stadt" which is easily accessible to the Street Train. Arriving in my room, I honestly thought I was back in a youth hotel. For the price it is sparceily furnished alright and needs a bit of money invested to make the rooms look more homely....

I stayed for 3 nights last week. Freiburg is a very old university town, less then one hour from Basel airport. Freiburg is in the South black forest, also close to France, in one of the most beautiful areas of Germany. It is around 10 min from the town centre by car and 5 tram stops by public transport. The...

Travelled with my wife and 10 year old daughter to this hotel by car, so wanted a hotel that was easy to find with adequate parking. The hotel is set back from a square that has a couple of shops, a takeaway and a supermarket. There was a couple of times when we had to park the car near the...

The hotel is located couple of tram stops away from the central station. However the tram stop is just couple of metres away from the hotel so that makes travelling around quite a breeze. Supermarket is right next door so that's one of the advantages. The rooms are basic but clean. No elevator though. But the best part of the...

Not the most stylish hotel, but the staff is very nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated outside of Freiburg city centre, but there's a tram stop very close by and it's only 4 stops to the city centre. Plus, you can leave your car at the hotel. The breakfast is great, there's a bit...

This hotel is outside the busy center of Freiburg but is very near a tram line that passes the train station and then continues to the center of town... about five or six stops between the hotel and the center. The neighborhood around the hotel is pleasant, quiet, and contains a small grocery shop, a bank, and a pharmacy. Within...

Our daughter studied abroad in Freiburg in Fall/Winter 2010. My yougest daughter and I went to visit her in December 2010. Bischofslinde was a wonderful, quiet, convenient little place to stay. It was very, very clean - not plush, but just perfect for us. The rooms have an anteroom that you enter first where the closet/storage and bathroom are located;...

The rooms at this hotel are very dated and in desperate need of modernisation. The room however was very clean and a nice quiet location dispite the rather popular Italian restaurant at the bottom. The tram is a 2 minute walk away and takes about 10 minutes. One way is 2.10 euros. Parking outside the hotel is quite limited but...

A very nice and cozy hotel which was very well located from the Freiburg Main station and city center. Our host (Patricia) took great care of us from a nice sumptuous breakfast to a nice warm room which we would love to come back after a long hectic day! Being 3 mins from the famous Seepark of Freiburg, the evenings...
