Stayed for a week as a group of four male skiers in our 50s. Excellent value for money, the accommodation was clean and well appointed. Plenty of hot water, reasonable internet (off peak). Be aware you get a double bed with two bunks .... duvet covers and towels provided, along with a dishwasher, microwave and hob - all worked well....

These apartments are not large but as a family of five for a week they were fine. The main bedroom is a good size and the split between lavatory and bathroom helps. Kitchen small and has no oven but does have a dishwasher. Ski storage was fine and location for the lifts, supermarket, bus is excellent. Apartment was clean and...

Generally functional and in a great location but the decor is tired (looks much better on their website than in reality). No oven which rules out kids pizza night (important in such an expensive resort!).

How times have changed. A stay in self catering accommodation in Val d’Isere a few years ago is likely to have been something to endure during your ski trip. The apartments would have been hammered from years of use and not ungraded. The attitude of staff would have been take it or leave it. Pierre & Vacances Residence La Daille...

A little far from Val d'Isère down town but you can access through free shuttles and by simply walking. In summer time, that was not a problem. The parking was free and very convenient eventhough you have one floor to climb through a stairway. Rooms were simple and small but ok. This place's better for young people going for winter...

Average diggs, provided a good base for a week's intense skiing. The hotel was clean enough, boot room was adequate. It's pretty much your standard deal, no frills. So if you get a good rate I would definitely recommend this place. Free shuttle bus across the road into town which runs regular and till late. There's some nice hotels and...

Stayed here with family over Easter vacation. Very basic accommodation with not a lot of space. Bit run down generally, but was functional and what you would expect for a low cost ski holiday. Very handy for access to the mountain, but quite a bit away from the ski schools in the centre of Val (but easy with regular shuttle...

Cheap, cheerful, good value. Pretty much perfect for what we wanted. However DO NOT USE ALP-SKI-BUS Despite us being at the bus station half an hour early the driver did not stop and we had to pay for a £250 cab so that we did not miss our flight home. V stressful. And on top of this they have appalling...
