This charming hotel provided the perfect base in Val d'isere for my family. It has a great location - ski in/ski out and easy walking to aquatic center, apre ski and restaurants. The guest rooms are comfortable and spacious with bathrooms (bath and shower) and verandahs boasting beautiful views of the mountains. The highlight was the hands on approach by...

Almost ski in, ski out Perfect for legs that are dead The location makes up for That super hard bed. Seriously - why's it so hard? Made of rocks or something like it? We had a lovely holiday - just what we needed. A friendly hotel, comfortable beds and plenty of snow for the ski in ski out. We chose not to have dinner in the hotel so were able to explore the town and it's many options, but the breakfasts were good (although the children were keen to have the 'hot' option...

We stayed as a group in this hotel and had a lovely time. The hotel is right near all the ski lifts to get to the main ski area, the staff, especially the wonderful owner, could not be more friendly or helpful. The hotel is cozy and warm and we had a terrific time.

Fabulous hotel in the most special ski resort. Val D'Isère is such a safe bet, even in the driest of winters. Hotel Altitude provides the most easy, comfortable and very special place to stay in this wonderful part of the world!

The hotel is ideally situated just at the bottom of the slope. The tenant is very nice and thoughtful. The big common room with a chimney is ideal for post ski chill out. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for a three night summer break. Like many Alpine hotels, it is quite dated and could do with a refurb - but I suppose it adds to the quaintness of the place. It's pricey and dated, and if it wasn't in the Alps I'd give it three stars, however having stayed in similar places before, it is...

We stayed here for a bit of summer alpine hiking. We were made very welcome by the enthusiastic owner. Our rooms were simple and clean, with added bonus of a few English TV channels. We opted for half board and very happy with our choice - The food was very good and waiters fluent in English (as is the ever...
