Quite simply a spectacular location on the very edge of Lake Annecy, our double room €299 was located in an annex on the 2nd floor, small and quirkey but OK for one night. The Restaurant has wonderful views of the lake but expensive and disappointing food, the starter €45 (Oeuf de Caille Carte) the flavours of Quail Eggs and Smoked...

Beautiful location, very nice room with great view, and very high quality food and service. The easy lovely drive to the town of Annecy for site seeing and shopping was a big plus. Looking forward to returning as often as possible.

We stayed 2 nights in a lakeside room, large with an amazing view of the lake. It did rain the total time we were here, but we were cozy and comfortable, so we had no cause to complain. Excellent attention to detail. Very formal and old school, so pull your best clothes out of your suitcase and enjoy the auberge.

The first time we stayed at Pere Bise was 10 years ago. And we are comming back, year after year! The restaurant is above the top. The food is excellent and the service flawless. The unique thing is that this is combined with a warm and friendly feeling - not at all snobish. The price is as expected: high. But...

Just go, spent three nights here last week, would be happy to have spent all week there. Amazing location on the lake, unbelievable food and service. Had the 185 euro menu and yes, eye wateringly expensive but it's a whole evening of theatre with the most perfect food , service, views, ambience. Wine list big but some good options, Meursault...

The most professional and respectful staff, lovely room, and unequivocal views of lake and surrounding areas. The dinner we had in the hotel was exciting and tasty, however for the price we probably would not eat there again since there are many charming and more reasonable faire in walking distance. Only a few issues to mention but does not effect...

They like the answer "no" at the Auberge du Pere Bise... Almost every request was "not possible" we had a child with us, and he was hungry around 16.00 and they couldn't even prepare him a small sandwich..... As they said the they don't do that.... This while there having a Michelin star restaurant where chefs are probably working all...

We stayed in Talloires overnight and had dinner here. The location is fabulous , right on the edge of the lake. We had drinks on the terrace and our lovely spaniel swam in the lake. The staff were very friendly so we decided to stay for dinner - a good choice. The food, wine and ambience couldn't be faulted. We...
