The holiday isn't just about the nice hotel, friendly staff, delicious food, professional ski instruction or the kilometres of nearby slopes. It also encompasses the atmosphere created by all of the above. This is at least my 20th time revisiting Megeve at the Chalet d'Antoine, which should tell you all you need to know. For a good holiday that covers...

We visited early April 2016 and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We were a group of 8 (2 families) and without a doubt the service in this hotel was above and beyond anything we could possibly have asked for. Their staff were tremendous, assisting us prior to our arrival with arrangements for ski hire ,ski passes ect. The...

We received ,as always, a brilliant service from Simon Butler's team in all respects. The rooms are fine and clean and the food in Toby and Maree's dining room is always of an excellent standard. There is a good range of main courses that are beautifully presented and full of flavour. The evening meal and afternoon tea are always worth...

The key point here is that this is NOT a walk-in Hotel per se, at least in the winter. Rather it is the base for SB Ski Holidays so you won't normally be able to book the odd night. The holidays include half board (excellent food with wine at dinner) and ski instruction. Almost all clients are British as are...

Many thanks for your kind review AzBelFan, if I may correct you though when you type that 'it is NOT a walk-in hotel, it IS. Some weeks the tour operator we closely work with takes a larger allocation of rooms than other weeks, but throughout the winter season we have some lovely people stay with us through them WALKING IN...

Having visited this beautifully appointed and well run chalet (special mention for the food) we would not hesitate to put it at the top of our list for future visits. And although near to the town centre the free buses were virtually on the door step.

This was our first time at Chalet d'Antoine which quite possibly serves the best hotel dinner in the Alps! You get a three course set menu and the vegetarian in our party was equally impressed. Staff are incredibly attentive and seem to know all guests by name. Rooms are comfortable and were made spotless daily. Two hours (plus) of first-class...

Chalet d'Antoine is a home from home. A professional, experienced and super friendly team make the Antoine a truly unique place to stay. I have always found the rooms to be comfortable, clean and fuss free, the food to be absolutely delicious and the skiing and instruction 1st class.

The hotel was pretty, comfortable and warm. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very small but immaculately clean and nicely presented. The service was friendly and helpful at all times, the atmosphere relaxed, informal and very enjoyable; the food was superb and hugely exceeded my expectations. The ski areas were quite widely spread and required a bus ride or a bit...

The team at Chalet d'Antoine now do ski hire and service, the food is better than ever, ski lessons to sharpen up on latest methods, video analysis, all good. only minor niggles which were some harder mattresses might be good, and some of our party found the music from the club opposite intrusive. definitely book again
