the hotel, a former convent, is in a quiet area with fantastic views of lyon. the hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast buffet very good and the emloyees are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. however, be prepared to climb up a steep street when walking back from your city tour, as the hotel is situated on top of...

This is a gem overlooking the old city of LYON. The rooms are wonderful and the view from our terrace was postcard perfect. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They gave us wonderful recommendations for walking tours and they also sent us to two incredible bouchards for dinner...both were ten out of ten!! This is a special hotel and...

I had accidentally reserved my stay for the wrong Thursday, once I realized I called to let them know. Since it was within 24 hours they refused to refund my card, even though the hotel had plenty of occupancy. I explained to them I still wanted to come but only the following week, but the agent from Hotels.com toild me...

If you like to be in special places , go and try this hotel. It was a Chapel and a kind of monastery for nuns. The Lobby and reception area still shows the chruch shape and the tribu where the nuns used to pray. It is a wonderful Lobby. From the time you arrive till the time you leave ,...

A really nice hotel, the rooms we stayed in have nothing to do with the ones in the pictures, so I assume there is a new renovated part. The staff are the most friendly we have ever seen, you truly feel at home. The rooms are quite spacious, mine had a great view of the city and the main church....

A classic hotel with gorgeous views and a pretty amazing restaurant. Be aware of the about 200 steps from the old city to get here! But Uber was very convenient and we had no issues. The service was impeccable! Would certainly go back!

We were deciding between this hotel and another in a different part of Lyon. So glad we selected Villa Florentine. Clearly there are about 250 steps to its location from the streets of the old town, but well worth those steps each day. The concierge's dining recommendations were outstanding and the front desk staff welcomed us very graciously. The hotel...

Our three generation travelling family group stayed here for three nights. One couple were returning guests and after the recent stay, all family members will return. It is located in a glorious Hilltop peak overlooking the old city. Our family group shared two suites with separate entrances but a shared common doorway allowing a great combination of family time and...

we stayed 3 nights in December for the Fêtes des Lumiéres. Great event, lots of people. The Hotel is on the hillside just above the old town. Excellent view over Lyon but you have to walk up about 200 steps to reach the Hotel or go along the road. If there is no festival, Taxi would be the easiest. But...
