We stayed at L’Ateleier for six nights. This chambre d’hôte is situated in a quiet street with easy access to all parts of Lyon, via the excellent public transport system. There is also a good restaurant within walking distance. Our en-suite room was large and well furnished, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. Michelle, the owner,... More

Michelle is so nice, and her breakfasts are so good. The chocolate rolls are great, but the chocolate bread is even better!. The location is very close to excellent public transportation. We stayed there 4 nights, so we got to know Lyon well. We also took a day trip to Beaune and Dijon and loved both of those towns. On... More

I would highly recommend this b&b. It is conveniently located close to the metro, the rooms are simple but spacious with lovely bathroom. The owner Michelle is very kind and friendly, nothing was trouble for her. She offered great food and drinks when we arrived and was very welcoming. She even did our washing for us. The breakfast was extremely... More

My wife & I were very impressed with our stay at L'Atelier. As soon as we arrived, Michelle the lovely owner provided us with some delectable pasta, chicken and wine. This was so generous. The breakfast supplied was first class, think home made jams, croissants, baguettes, pastries, fresh juice, bottomless tea and coffee, hams and cheeses. The room was big... More

We stayed at Michelle's beautiful B&B last August while travelling in France. We were pleasantly surprised at how modern and spacious and beautifully decorated this place is considering how affordable it is. The bathroom was the largest and nicest we saw in France (we stayed at many hotels, B&B's, and apartments on our vacation). The room had many amenities such... More

We agree with everything written on TA about the facilities and location of this property. Our hostess Michelle was endlessly kind, friendly and helpful. Her English is much better than our French but with her constant companion, " Google, My Friend!" we were easily able to converse. Do not even bother trying to stay elsewhere.

My wife & I spent 3 nights at L'Atelier in September. It would be impossible to say too many good things about our stay. It's a beautiful home, and our room (with bathroom) was large and clean and attractive. The location is quiet, and it is a few short subway stops from the heart of this beautiful city. But above... We spent 3 very comfortable and relaxed nights in Michelle's chambre d'hote. Her place is chic and comfortable. Spacious bedrooms, excellent beds, extras like a fan -which was needed- and, best of all, a wonderful hostess who endured our halting French each breakfast time! Michelle is warm and attentive and ensures you have a great stay. The layout of the... More

Michelle was an incredible hostess. She was so helpful in every step from confirming the reservation to helping navigate the metro system and being available for an early check-in after a long trip from Africa. Upon arrival, she greeted me happily and served me an omelette with chocolate mousse and wine. Her breakfasts were very generous with local pastries, fruit... More
