I got a modern spacious light room with carpet floor. A separate toilet and a light spacious bath with a big shower and a window. The location is unfortunately not that close to the “center”, but just next to the station and a big shopping center. The hotel offers an indoor parking but the parking is also public and I... More

Arriving from St. Pancras station, London, it was pleasing to find such a good hotel a short distance from the station in Lyon. All public areas of the hotel were clean and inviting. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room was of good standard and plenty of choice for breakfast. No complaints and would recommend to others who, like us, are stopping... More

Mercury closed by La Part Dieu train station is really easy access, very practical! Rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is very good. Restaurant for lunch or dinner works very well and food is fresh. Staff is supportive and helpful.

I travelled to Lyon from CDG Airport by TGV, by far the best way to go. The hotel was only 50 metres from the station. It is close to (10 minutes walk) to many bars and restaurant and the city centre is within easy reach. The room was large and roomy, the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style... More

The hotel is very welcoming and the staff was great. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. A large selection of fruits, breads, eggs (boil your own), cheeses. Almost worth the stay for breakfast!

If you have business in Lyon and are in the Part Dieu district, give this one a serious consideration. It is RIGHT next to the train station and overlooks it at the back of the hotel, but I heard nothing, NOTHING throughout the time I was there. Soundproofed so well. There is a mall within walking distance, a few cafes,... More

The Mercure Part Dieu is a great hotel with a fantastic location right next to the railway station with excellent tram, bus and train connections. The hotel is modern with large well equipped bedrooms - and nice spacious bathrooms with separate WC. Despite being next to a very busy station and transport hub the hotel is surprisingly quiet. Stayed here for one night whilst travelling to Italy. The hotel was exactly as you would expect. The room was large, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Whilst it was very close to the station and therefore very convenient, the room was very quiet with no disturbance at all from the railway. Would recommend

This hotel is located in the same building as two sister hotels, being the "highest" of the three. The location is very convenient for several reasons: (1) The tram from the airport, the Rhone Express" ends at here (27,5 Euros round trip, much cheaper than a taxi). The hotel is literally across the street. Several other local trams also run... More
