Got off to a very bad start. I emailed the hotel a couple of months before our trip and asked them if they could make a reservation for us at Paul Bocuse 'Institut restaurant-école. I received the following response: "Thank you for your email. I leave your email in my box and I will call for you around 1 month...

We stayed 2 nights in September 2015. This hotel meets the standard of the Mecure brand and we found to also be a little bit nicer and spacious than other Mecure hotels we have stayed in. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very modern and nice hot shower with good pressure. Staff very friendly and English speaking if required. In...

Rooms were large, clean and the hotel is well located. Of all our stays in France, this was our favorite hotel. Service was excellent as well. The hotel is located between the two rivers, easy access to all of Lyon.

We spent four nights at the Beaux Arts. I recall our room was the premier room and came with a respectable sized room and a small fridge. Due to the room status, any beverage we drank was replaced the following day during room service. We found the staff very friendly and spoke both French and English. We did not eat...

We (a group of 4 adults) stayed 2 nights at the Mercure Lyon Centre Beaux Arts. The hotel was the perfect location for us. Easy to walk to lots of places of interest and an excellent bar area near by. Public transport and great shops all easily accessible too. Spent 3 nights here last week. Excellent location to see everything in Lyon - the old town is just a short walk across one of the bridges - but you are in a more local area near excellent restaurants. Very comfortable hotel and helpful staff. Walking distance to great markets and close to both rivers. Highly recommended.
