Great hotel with small but nicely decorated rooms with all amenities one good need. Excellent location with walking distance to Vieux Lyon as well as the shopping districts. The breakfast buffé in the morning had both a great assortment of cold dishes as well as some hot. I have stayed at a few different hotels in down town Lyon and...

Great hotel for a central Lyon visit. Small reception / lounge / bar area. Rooms are small and shower room tiny, but all OK. Excellent hotel staff with eager to help attitude. Quiet street (no night noise) but really close to the rivers in either direction, the shopping centre, the old town, and the lanes of bars and restaurants -...

The lobby provides a pleasant impression, the front desk staff are a delight, but room 611 is extremely cramped. There is no enclosed bathroom - instead it has a minute sink area inserted adjacent to a shower, both of which are open to the bedroom - there is no door to screen the sleeping area. The commode is in its...

We stayed here for 3 nights and I would have enjoyed an even longer stay! So much to explore in this town! The Mercure's location is excellent for seeing much of the city. The rooms are great and excellent breakfast. The staff at the front dest were always very helpful! Highly recommend this hotel.

We were very happy with our room at the Mercure....although I have to admit we spent most of our time exploring Lyon and not much time at the hotel. Looking back, I can see that this Hotel was a good choice for us. Good central location, extremely friendly staff, cozy little room, all located in a part of Lyon that...

We stayed here for a couple of nights last weekend (the 9th & 10th of Sep). The hotel is in a great location right in the city centre close to the southern end of the Rue de Republique. However it is set on a fairly quiet road so no night time disturbance. Our room was at the top of the...

I had the pleasure of staying 8 nights recently at this hotel.Check in was the quickest that I've every experienced - amazing. Very friendly staff who all spoke English (thanks!) and were helpful assisting me with a few questions and a later check out. Breakfast is plentiful though the hot selection is fairly limited - I recommend the fruit salad!...

We only stayed one night and it was fine. Location meant we could walk everywhere which was the idea. Parking is in a public car park around a five minute walk away. Bug bear of the Mercure chain for me is the lack of decent toiletries - a one size fits all generic tube of shampoo/shower gel fixed to the...

Nice hotel, apparently recently refurbished, very clean and very central, being 50 meters from the main street in Lyon The room we had it was too small for 2 adults and 1 baby: we did not know how move into the room if not walking on the bed Reception personnel were very nice, kind and available with us, so we...
