I agree with previous reviews, great staff, excellent food, plenty of hot water, convenient for the slopes, shabby! However simple changes could make the hotel seem more 'up market'. It wouldn't take a lot of time to iron the tablecloths and clean the windows. Much of the crockery was chipped - not very hygienic!

The chalet hotel is superbly located, being only 100 metres from a ski in-ski out piste & 5 minutes walk from the centre of 1850. The staff are very professional & the hotel runs smoothly; nothing is too much trouble for them. Food & wine are good. The rooms are well-equipped & showers have lots of hot water. Boot &...

Stayed at this jewel of a hotel for a week at half term. Rooms - quite basic and on the small side. We were lucky and had a triple room for two of us, so plenty of room and massive wardrobe to hold all ski clothes and the cases. The twin rooms were very small and you could just about...

Just a short walk to the main lift base and a few yards the opposite direction to a piste that you can easily ski to a lift. Rooms a little small and our patio doors not really 'double glazed' and soundproof so we were kept awake by noisy passers by well into the early hours. Food and wine was good...

For the third year running we stayed at The Coq De Bruyere for our annual skiing holiday, there were 14 of us in our group this year and it was just as good as previous years. The management and staff tried hard to make sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food and service were excellent,...

When we booked to stay at Coq de Bruyere I wasn't really sure what to expect as there are not that many reviews. I was worried for no reason. The hotel is in exceptionally good location, 3 mins walk to the slopes. The interior, although a bit tired, it's skiing holiday, we go there for skiing and mountains, not the...

This is my second stay at this hotel- it is homely and has great position by the main lifts and shopping area. Whilst the fabric of the hotel is tired the management and staff are excellent. Such a friendly welcome and staff attitudes that the 5 star hotels would be proud off. The catering was excellent and the chef very...

Stayed in this chalet for the first time. In a nutshell: service is good, staff are friendly, smiley. The chalet caters only for the British tourists. The food was better than I expected and was plentiful, however, not much variety and is quite simple. Played loud music at the bar one night so we struggled to sleep as our room...

Seriously disappointed with the state of the Hotel , both main areas and the rooms If it was not for the hard working young Team , who is obviously just left to deal with all the problems in the building by Ski Total , it would have been unbearable Yes the food quality is really good and yes there is...

Thank you for your review nevsibahar. It's such a shame that you feel that the upkeep of the Chalet Hotel is rather letting down an otherwise excellent and enjoyable stay, where our great team look after our guests well. We've featured the property for a number of years and its owners are particularly attentive, so we'll ensure that your feedback...

Have returned to this hotel four times. Incredible value for Courchevel 1850. OK hotel is a little jaded but this is a ski holiday! We have never faulted the staff or management who are always welcoming, warm and helpful. Organisation is first class. Great breakfast, lovely selection and plentiful freshly prepared food for tea. Dinner is equally delicious and varied....
