Its been some years since we came here as there seemed to have been some family problems but it was great to go back and see what has been done. It is much refurbished and the staff are really lovely and helpful. There is a good breakfast and a great menu du jour. There is a sauna and so on...

Have returned this weekend from a wonderful stay at the Ancolies. Gets off to a great start with very friendly staff to great you on arrival. This service was carried on throughout the visit. Snow conditions were not ideal when we arrived, so to have very knowledgeable staff to advise you on best place to go each day was invaluable...

We had a great stay over the New Year, the service was excellent and they catered for you every need. The Hotel is located next to the lift which takes 5 minutes to get to 1550. They have a nice bar in the town including a wine tasting venue. The food at the Hotel is a very good standard, and...

We had two rooms for a family of five (inc three teenage boys) from 26 to 31 Dec 2016 on half board basis. Hotel was very convenient location for the village and ski gondola. Rooms had a light and refreshing feel, plenty of space, were very clean and beds comfortable. Bathroom and facilities all worked well. Sauna and steamroom were...

We have stayed twice at the hotel and love it very much as the convenience of it. Near the slopes right in the centre of Courchevel and staff are lovely and the rooms are cosy. The only problem which is such a shame is THE FOOD. We have ate in the restaurant three time to see if the first time...

Stayed here for three nights over Easter. By far the most reasonably placed hotel we could find in Courchevel for a relatively late booking. Located in Couchevel Village (formerly 1550). Ski in ski out location (well, within 20m). Easy access to rest of 3 Valleys- we made it to and back from Val Thorens on Day 1 with no difficulties....

This hotel is a clear example of the power of Trip Advisor. The other reviews below sum up the positives and the negatives very well - so we knew just what we were getting. For us the positives were: • great location - 20 metres walk to skis on/off. 5 minutes walk down the road to the village centre. •...

A decent, very friendly 3 star hotel near the top end of 1550. Great location - from the boot room you just cross the road and then you can ski across to and from the bottom of the Tovets blue run. It's also 50 yards from the bus stop. The staff - and the cat - are very friendly, especially...

First the positives. The hotel is reasonably priced (for Courchevel). It is pretty nearly ski in ski out - just a short climb up a 20m track to the slope (not for absolute beginners). Wifi is free and fast. Nice lobby / bar area with an open fire. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great pastries at breakfast. But.... Our...
