I spent a week here with my two sons. Got off to a bad start as Inghams had ripped us off on the room and we had to ask to be moved to a larger room (which we had to pay extra for). Location is very good with an excellent ski shop in the basement. Spa was nice but the...

We were told when we arrived that the season had been a challenge. It was snowing like a fairytale as we drive in and continued this was for the days to come. Amazing views and I don't say this lightly. Quiet and friendly staff. Rooms nice and easy. The food was standout. Well prepared and tasted great. Breakfast a real...

We visited the Ducs de Savoie for tea as friends were staying there. They took us on a tour and we were really impressed, especially since our regular hotel, the Courchneige is being acquired by a vast luxury hotel manager. The hotel is well sutuated in the Jardin Alpin between stops 2 and 3 on the Jardin Alpin bubble. It...

Location: The hotel is located in the very center of Val d'Isere, on the main street. It's close to slopes 5 min walk if you want to walk but you can also take a bus from in front of the hotel which runs every 5 min and takes only 2 short stops to get you to the slopes. This is...

I don't often give 5 stars. But for the price, this hotel was brilliant. The attention to detail was superb. Food was excellent. The staff in the restaurant, were attentive, knowledgable, & overall very helpful. This is Courchevel, so nothing is cheap. However the restaurant had a good selection of wines that weren't overly priced. The rooms were clean &...

Lovely staff, comfortable rooms. Excellent food. Ski shop was pricey but equipment very good and staff helpful. Very convenient location, and comfortable lounge area. Pool was on the chilly side and sadly dominated by very rowdy badly behaved Russian children. The bar staff struggled to keep them in control as their parents were not inclined to, but this was out...

Stayed at Ducs this year once again. Been there many times before. As allways my impresión is excellent. Located by the ski slope at the Jardin Alpine and 50 m from the telecabine to downtown Courchevel , open till 20.30 h. The service , rooms and restaurant of the hotel deserve a 10. Full spa and covered winter swiming pool....

It has been 3 years since Jane and I resided here for our annual ski trip and it is as great as ever. I cannot praise this hotel and staff too highly. Location is superb close to the centre of town but far enough away to get a good nights sleep which the City Detective being an elderly sort of...

In summary a traditional, alpine hotel - certainly in need of updating but superbly well run by Sylvie, the ever present and professionally efficient manager. In 1850 everything comes at a price, and even three star hotels are no exception to the rule. At least here you actulally get what you pay for. Comfortable (but not well insulated) rooms, outstanding...
