Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely fantastic. Wasn’t expecting so much from what was classed as a 3-star hotel. I’ve stayed in 5-star hotels that weren’t as good as this one. Staff were always super friendly and very helpful. Even gave advice on ski resorts. Food wonderful also. Location brilliant. Super clean. Very comfortable. I actually don’t think I’ve stayed at a hotel were I can honestly say everything was perfect… EVER! Truely a brilliant hotel. Highly highly recommended. Will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel with consistently friendly and helpful staff in a great location for the train station and ski bus. Clean and sizeable modern rooms. Boot room in the basement with boot warmers. The ONLY downside of this hotel is that noise carries at night. It wasn’t guests being loud or boisterous but we got woken at 3am every night with some random banging. We were in Room 101 near the gym and not far from the stairs/lift. Would come back and remember ear plugs!

Room Tip: The staff are really helpful and provided so much information about the ski buses in the resort

The hotel is ideally centrally placed close to the shops and only 2 minutes walk to the Train Station in one direction and the bus stops in another direction. The only problem with this was that as our room faced the main street it was noisy late at night when the bars were still open and then at half six every morning when the supermarket opposite has a delivery. Our son had a room on the opposite side of the hotel and said he couldn't hear any noise at night or in the morning. Our room was a decent size and got the afternoon/evening sun every day - we didn't have air conditioning, our son's room didn't get the sun but had air conditioning. We travelled half board with Inghams, (Andy the rep was a great help to us and very knowledgeable), the evening meal was a set 3 course plan, some nights better than others, although if you didn't like something the staff would try and change it for you. Breakfast was a buffet and had decent choice, although it was constantly running out of things and the staff weren't always on the boil to keep items topped up. Overall the hotel is a good place to stay.

We booked the summit suite for the view and we weren’t disappointed. The view was fantastic and the room was modern and comfortable, with a wrap Lovely dog friendly hotel, which is really central. We didn’t use the hotel car park, but there is one next door which cost just over €15 euros for the night. We found the staff friendly and helpful. If we return to Chamonix again, this is the hotel we would choose.

We were disappointed with our stay. The room smelt of mould and it was mouldy on the wall by the window. The heating didn't work well so the room was cold. On Booking.com it stated we had a free upgrade to 'mountain view room' (we were in 204) we didn't exactly have the best view. Whilst we understand you can't control building work, waking up to digger noises wasn't ideal. I did message the hotel before I wrote this , but I was asked to feedback via this review.

Kind people, service minded, great location, it was just a good experiance. breakfast, lunch, dinner was good, nothing to complaint about. I believe the AC in the new renovated rooms not are super efficient but it works, what I mean is you can not 100% decide exact temperature with the ac in the room.

Great location close to restaurants, bars and shopping in the centre of Chamonix. 3 star hotel with good price per night. Quite small room with sunny balcony and view over the mountains. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast is simple but ok. I will stay there again!

Hotel has great atmosphere, the staff are incredibly friendly & helpful! The bar & restaurant were the centre of the great atmosphere and the food was excellent. Modern & comfy rooms are topped off by the sauna, ski facilities & central location for all Chamonix has to offer.

The hotel is very clean, modern, friendly and accommodating staff. The sauna is awesome with lovely views over the town. Breakfast was excellent and the one night we ate in the restaurant we found the food was lovely and very reasonable in price, including a good selection of wine. It was a 2 minute walk to the bus stop to La Tour and Flegiere, and 4 mins to Brevant… which is expected in Chamonix. Only downside was that the bedroom area was too small when two are needing to get dressed - everything else was perfect and highly recommended for a short break
