We stayed here on a walking Tour de Mont Blanc. Found staff great, place interesting (loads of travel stuff from Nepal Patagonia etc) room clean and comfortable with shower and wash basin. Noise from road didn't bother us (as someone flagged). Evening meal was really excellent with lovely fresh vegetables/fruit/herbs etc. Really good. Breakfast fine. Only negative for us is...

Situated at the southern end of the village. The food was excellent and our room was clean and cheap. The interior decoration is charming, with old pictures and knick-knacks. We had a communal shower which, though located in the basement, turned out to be among the best equipped of our journey, with a shower curtain, warm heat lamp, and ample...

Second time in two years staying here (so it is okay). Only criticism, stayed in for an evening meal due to a long day travelling and arriving quite late....Poor quality and cold. However, it is clean and has a certain dated traditional atmosphere, which I suppose makes up for a one off bad meal.

I have been coming here for many years. It is a typical French hotel which I like and has its own character. English isn't widely spoken but the staff try very hard to accommodate. The rooms are clean and comfortable basic and many have their own showers. The toilets are at the end of each corridor. It is ideally located...

As other reviewers have said, the hotel is small, characterful, basic and in a great location near Grands Montets. Wifi does work well and the female owner and young women working here are friendly and helpful. On the downside, the male owner is unfriendly in his behaviour. More importantly, the many (men in particular) who stay here show no consideration...

A family run friendly hotel near to the bottom end of the village and the Grands Montets car park. It's basic, some rooms don't have bathrooms, but the price is great, it's clean and warm and welcoming. If you want a fancy hotel, look elsewhere. If you want a great little stop in this amazing village, here it is.

Stayed one night in July 2014. Checked in super late and found a shared room with shared bathroom. No one was there. Paid something like 25 euros for the room. Great bargain! Only downside is that the room has virtually no natural light and there was a lot of noise from the road. Great option for those who like their...

I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the past 3 years. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Excellent location for the Grands Montets (5 min walk) or hop on the bus (2 min walk to bus stop) for Le Tour or Flegere (about 10 min). Most have shower& basin with the WC a short walk down...

This place is pretty great. 30 Euros for your own room, with a basin, just up the road from Chamonix; you can't really do better than that in mid ski season. No nonsense about having to book a full week from Saturday to Saturday or any of that crap. My room was very simple, very clean and made me feel...

If you look for a cheap accommodation in Chamonix, this place is a good choice. It is simple but clean. Shower/WC are separate but for a short stay it is OK. It it closely located to the ski lifts in Argentière. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. Overall good place that will not empty your wallet but do not expect luxury...

“Room 11 has a balcony, 3 to 4 people, room 5 has it's own toilet, room 8 is a one person room and is unfortunately right next to the staircase so when families come over, in the mornings, you hear everything coming up or down stairs- not nice when you want a quiet sleep after a lond day at ski.”
  • Cute room
  • Good shower
  • Toilet door is middle one at end
  • Beautiful view from windows
