Hotel Gounod was interesting. We stayed in a standard double-room room (Room no. 1) which had red and pink walls, very dim lighting, no spare power points or spare pillows, only one tiny rubbish bin in the bathroom and the wi-fi internet that was supposed to be in the rooms could only be found if you stood on tiptoes and...

My DH and I spent five nights at Hotel Gounod and were sad to leave. What makes this hotel so memorable are several factors. First, at the front desk.were very helpful, blue-eyed, and English-speaking Heidi and in the tea room at breakfast, effervescent Sophie. We wanted to adopt both young women! The breakfasts, which were included, were absolutely divine, filling...

In the centre of town, easy walk to restaurants, stores and galleries. Stairs only...but ok if you are healthy...cute breakfast room and wonderful courtyard. Nice for one or two nights. Check out the Vincent Van Gogh walk and the medieval battle castle located between Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Les Baux-de-Provence, ... the small village of Les-Baux-de-Provence and its ruined medieval castle are...

Unique hotel mainly due to decoration in public areas. When coming to the room we found it very nicely decorated and spacious, with comfortable and big bed, big bathroom with bathrobes and nice terrace looking into quiet patio. This made our sleep very comfortable. We stayed in charme room. Simple breakfast but sufficient to start the day was included as...

We found this to be a great hotel in lovely St Remy. The lobby decorations are quirky, but all in all it works. The staff was wonderful, the courtyard a great place to relax and the location is perfect. The weekly market is right outside the door and there are dozens of cafes and restaurants within a 10 minute walk....

We was assigned to room 25 at the 3° floor and in the corridors and stairs to access the room there was a very bad smell maybe they have some problem with the sewerage for each day (3 day stayed). I suppose that they known problem because the put a lot of lemon air-freshener and the combination was disgusting. Fantastic...

This hotel was great. Delicious breakfast included in the stay and very helpful staff. It's a small family run establishment, and you definitely have that feel. I was a bit surprised by all of the religious decorations (The bathrooms are labeled "Mary" and "Joseph" instead of women and men) but if you look past that it's really a charming hotel....

Unique hotel, full of religious artifax and delightful photograhic items. Very positive and welcoming service. Great Breakfast. Very good value lunch. Ideal position in main square. Enjoyed local festival of young Bulls and the local kids on horses learning their trade.
