The hotel is in a pretty area. We made our trip through a travel agent which I would not recommend. You should not get any food at this hotel. Even breakfast was not very good. The fruit was not ripe, the ham was low quality. The bread was good but they did not make that. The coffee was even bad....

I will start this review by setting up how my experience began. First, I had no reservations here. In my travels, I often go whichever way the wind blows, thus rarely plan ahead. This has lead to interesting experiences, sure. This one was no exception. When I arrived in this area, I went to the visitor's center first, to use...

Chateau Roussan is a unique property located near St. Remy in Provence. The rooms are varied, but all charmingly furnished. There are beautiful public areas including a fascinating library and the garden with its Roman pool takes one back in time. The service is very good and the dining is superb.

We staid with our family in this hotel in May 2015 for a couple of nights. The hotel looks like an old castle out of a fairy tale. The surrounding of the hotel, meaning the park and its property around was not in the best shape and could have been more taken care of. The rooms were a bit smelly...

We had stayed in this hotel many times over the years before it was renovated, and hoped that they had made a serious effort to keep the soul of that ancient building. Unfortunately it appears they failed. Large spacious room, but no character. Renovation of poor quality, with mildew forming around the tub & the tub enclosure in need of...

We stayed at this chateau for one night in late February. We chose this hotel largely because of it's location near St Remy-de-Provence and Le Beaux de Provence. We had obtained a good rate and found or stay great value for money. The hotel is a 4 star accommodation, but the service was 5 star, at the same time forthcoming...

Ok, so let me be the first to tell you that I have stayed in hotels all over the world, and the customer service at this hotel might be the best I have ever seen. Including sluggin my wifes 55lb bag out into our car parked way down the driveway in the pouring rain followed by escorting her to the...

Gorgeous building but that's about it. The staff were lovely but the hotel really needs some tlc. It feels very jaded, it's all a bit old and dusty. Only spent one night here, wouldn't have spent another. The grounds were vast but also very tired

We have booked this hotel with Booking.com for four nights but we have departed after the first night. The location is easy to find and situated in a central position for cultural itineraries in Provence. Unfortunately the hotel is in urgent need of refurbishment and renovation. Pictures displayed on web sites are no more representing the real conditions of the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Only the XIIIth century could offer such a charming mansion, only 2km away from Saint‐Rémy de Provence. As you’ll slowly walk down the elegant alley of centennial plane trees, you’ll discover the “Château de Roussan”, designed by a brilliant French architect.
