Our second visit and this hotel remains one of our all time favourites. Attention to detail is everywhere and the staff are polite, knowledgeable and professional. Breakfast is fantastic as is the food generally. It is the perfect Provencal experience and highly recommended.

We stayed here for three nights on a recent trip to the South of France with my sister and her husband. We were all so delighted with the service, the gorgeous grounds, the comfort and style of the rooms and last, but certainly not least, THE FOOD. Be sure to eat lunch and dinner here at least once, preferably on... More

We (3 couples) recently traveled through southern France ending in Paris. Le Chateau des Alpillles was my favorite. We said it was "our vacation from our vacation". The staff & owner were magnificent. Beautiful suroundings. Food to die for.... We had a bit of rain while we were in st. Remy but Catherine our wonderful host planned a fantastic day... More

Lovely stay and very romantic. Perfect Provençal experience. The grounds are very well kept and beautiful. The owners are incredibly involved with day to day management and their careful attention shows.

This is a one off and a marvellous hideaway. A period French chateau with magnificent grounds, outdoor dining and pool. And inside is a fun arty surprise - the public rooms, with their giant fireplaces and aristocratic scale, are decorated in a funky 1970s chic, faded elegant and boho. The food in the restaurant in outstanding. The staff are very... More

We had the great pleasure of staying at this hotel April 6-9, 2013. Beautiful tree lined driveway to bring you up to this Chateau. Great staff eager to great you, even in the rain. Our room was huge with a modern bathroom, 3 really large windows overlooking the immense grounds and incredibly large trees. We can't wait to come back... More

As you can read, my review is not as raving endorsement as some others who have stayed there. Firstly the not so good. 1. need to redo the hotel. it is quite dated with lots of peeling paint and aged areas. 2. the hot water system was partly down for 36 hours during my 5 nights stay. it happened over... Stayed here in March with a couple of girl friends. We had a lovely time, the beds were beautiful, the rooms were beautiful, the food was beautiful - you get the drift. Love the town as well, insider tip for the town, market day is Wednesday, and it's a fabulous market!

I were very disappointed to see what has been doe to this place. it is the most beautiful chateaux in one of the greatest areas of Provence, and it would have had the potential to become really nice. unfortunately the redecoration is completely off. It was done with no respect for the place and with an odd, misplaced nouveau-riche style,... More

We flew from Sydney via KL to Paris then straight onto Marseille. We then drove to St Remy and were delighted with our choice. The Chateau is as good as it looks in the photos, the sound of water from all the ancient Roman aqueducts was soothing and peaceful. We explored all the wonderful areas suggested by the delightful Catherine... More
