After a quick stroll through the sinuous and narrow stone alleyways of charming Peillon, we stopped here for a truly memorable lunch. Fantastic view, Michelin star standard food, genuine French atmosphere. Five stars

If you want to get off the beaten path, this is the place to do it. A perhaps daunting drive up the winding road to some is well worth the effort. A village frozen in time. No touristy shops or stores of any kind are found here. The Auberge is comfortable if somewhat dated but the setting is so wonderful.... More

We were looking for an affordable place to spend the night, as close to Monaco as possible. It was the best option we could find on short notice, and it was sufficient, but I would not likely return. The town of Peillon is breathtaking and I would go back there any day! Auberge de la Madone has a stunning view... More

We had an excellent meal at the restaurant while taking in the truly memorable views. Our food was very fresh and tasty. We chose the Bistro Menu - salad main course ans dessert. There are several more expensive Menu Gastronomique menu choices at verious price levels. Service was very good.

We went to l'Auberge de la Madone after a recommendation from our guest house and did not regret it. The way up may be complicated, but the view is worth he effort. The food was very good, with some local dishes. We had some mushrooms as a starter, which were yummy and the fish was prepared with care by the... More

Nice food and good service in a beautifull setting. Local produce, classic dishes with a modern twist served by professionals. Incredible view and location. It's a spaectacular drive up the mountain, well worth it.

A charming little hotel with a fabulous restaurant. Hard to get to but that's exactly why it's an amazing find and at the essence of it's appeal. Worth the journey by car, inland into the mountains, above the Côte d'Azur (not visible btw). The adjacent Renaissance town is worth exploring (n foot only) and breakfast and dinner on the terrace... A hidden gem in this beautiful hill top village. Well worth negotiating the hairpin bends on the drive up the mountainside. The food was excellent and the wine list unexpectedly good. (Our designated driver was all for staying the night!) Local produce was perfectly cooked and the hosts were all charming. Highly recommend to all foodies who also like a... More

Came across this little gem almost by accident and was so pleased we found it. Really friendly welcome and quaint rooms overlooking the stunning valley. Meal in the Resturant was worthy of a Michelin star and was the best meal we had in the whole of France. Would 100% recommend and would happily stay there again if passing. Great trip... More
