Subjectively this hotel was great - sleep well, extremely nice staff. Breakfast French style, so a litte meager for us... Situated just on the waterfront. Fantastic view. NB. No elevator. This place is what we wanted. If you are looking for a spatious room, easy to move around, perfectly renovated rooms - this is not the place for U!

We stayed here during Euro 2016. The hotel is in a great location right on the sea front just beside a great little beach. The staff are relaxed & friendly, the views from the terrace & rooms are wonderful & the town centre is easily walkable in 20 minutes. Our room was full of character, the beds were very comfortable... More

Really friendly staff. Room had the most amazing view and you could go to sleep listening to the waves. I can't say a city view room would be as nice. Decor was interesting and not to my taste... But the fixtures and fittings were modern. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast wasn't that great, small selection of pastries. I would... More

Stayed here for two nights in room 5 on level one. We had a spacious balcony with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean. Service was very good and the room itself was spacious and clean. We had a separate lounge type sitting area also over looking the wonderful view. This is not an upmarket five star fancy hotel but the... More

We loved our little suite with terrace and views of the Iles du Frioul and the Côte Bleue across the bay. It was easy to get to by bus from the station and the beach was just round the corner. The breakfasts were definitely a highlight.

First of all the reason we considered this hotel is that they allowed us to take our dogs. The second was it is walkable to the train station. The third was that we could have an ocean view. Let me start out by saying WOW, I did not expect the view! It was beautiful. We had a small balcony that... More

I had to find a cheap hotel in Marseille with a good location: in front of the sea, in the Catalans area, Hotel Richelieu was my choice. Bedroom are avarage with "home made" decoration. I dpn;t recall the lift neither the breakfast, whatever I was happy to check out, but for the price paid, the quality is not that bad...... More

We have just spent a week at this hotel and had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, a very nice beach 2 minutes away, the city centre is a 10 minute walk and all the amenities you need are very close including a supermarket. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I strongly recommend a sea view room, we had... More

“Choose a room with a view of the sea Also this hotel has no lift (elevator), which was not a problem for us but something you should know and, of course, we were told in advance. Worth the climb, though Take the optional breakfast...it saves time and money (for later) and gets you to the beach earlier”
