I booked this hotel without going through to all the reviews. I think the one wt good review was from the hotel manager which is not fair. If you are from US or Canada, this hotel is not for you. I got very disappointed when going to this hotel, it's located in not so nice neighbourhood, the only good thing...

If you're lucky you get a room that's decent. If not you might regret it. Some rooms are renovated, for example the room I was given in the front of the hotel. This was after I requested to change rooms because the first one I was given was ran down with a bad view of a ran down back alley...

Very basic hotel, with an elevator that is an experienc unto itself and much hauling of suitcases up and down stairs. Hotel staff are helpful but not sure I would stay there again. Then again, I guess you get what you pay for and this was not expensive.

Well.. where should I start? The only positive thing about this so called hotel was the location. It was close to all major attractions, pubs and restaurants. OK and maybe the reception staff that came across quite pleasant. The rest of it was just appalling... What once had been a tasteful and full of caracter hotel, it's just a dirty,...

After a 30 hour train ride, all we wanted to do was find somewhere comfortable and clean to sleep but unfortunately our room at this hotel was absolutely filthy. Not only did it reek of cigarette smoke, but it also had not been vacuumed since the dawn of time. There were stains on the towels and comforter and other peoples...

This hotel would have been a nice hotel (great location, cute room, the usb port was not locked on the television, and the old world elevator was too cute for words), but the a/c was entirely non-functional. It was so hot in our room at night that we couldn't sleep. We left the hotel less rested then when we went...

Pictures look better than it is (don't they always). Room was ok but noisy and dated. Wardrobe the size of an elephant and tv the size of a mouse. Bathroom horrendous - badly chipped tiles, peeling paint, shower is basically like a tap running. As usual, staff save the day but I would never return.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to eat and what to do. Even upgraded my room with no additional cost when I arrived with an extra person in my party. I would definitely stay here again.
