Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Conveniently located near the metro just 4 stops from the port. Clean and comfortable room with a comfortable bed and the necessary for a short stay. Spacious bathroom with a large shower. Near the hotel there is a boulangerie for breakfast if you do not book it at the hotel and there are also places to dine. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

For stays of several days the room is definitely small and noisy on the lower floors, but for tourism it is perfect

Passing through Marseille that we particularly like with my husband. We had a nice meeting is Mehdi, helpful, warm at the disposal of the customer and very friendly. Pension is great we were there last year and we appreciate the underground garage reserved only for Pension guests. Besides there was a change in the bathrooms ours was classy. Mehdi thank you for the welcome, the evening chat before going up to our room. It was short, but so nice. Alsace's family.

For all people visiting Marseille 100% Recommendation to book at this property.
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Timone Metro Station (blue line).
Around the stop there are also two supermarkets (Lidl and Intermarches)
My room was nothing short of perfect, as it was spacious and also very quiet.
I would add that both the bathroom and the room were very clean.
Perfect air conditioning.
Quite satisfactory breakfast with different Italian dishes, more juices etc etc
Recommendation therefore to book in this hotel if you have to sleep in Marseille.

Everything was perfect during our stay in this hotel: the comfort and cleanliness of the room, the service and the breakfast.
In addition, its location is ideal for exploring the city and reaching the train station/airport.
Thanks to the whole BB team.

Really good value for money place to stay. Room was clean and the staff were exceptional in terms of their friendliness and helpfulness. Close to Metro, giving access to all the sights in Marseille. Breakfast, was good, too!

From booking the hotel to leaving the experience was excellent. Camille gave me the exact details of how to arrive from the airport via bus and train with the prices. On arrival Clarisse gave a very warm welcome and I got my room straight away. the room was spotless - modern and colourful. very clean and comfortable - windows very clean too - flat screen TV - free wireless internet with fast connections - safe - lots of power points - free water and chocolate - nice bathroom - comfortable bed and cosy bedcovers. Breakfast room was small but breakfast food quality very good - have no faults - staff very nice and hotel very clean and comfortable. 5 mins walk from Metro, and 5 stops to Marseilles central ( 10 mins - cost 1.60 euros. )

Many people commented about noise - there is no noise - My room faced the large hospital and with your window closed you are noise free - perfect room as a/c and heat.

Negatives - was asked at checkin to call down to say when I was coming to breakfast - strange I thought - I didn't - I went at 730am and no problems !!! Housekeeping is not constant - first day my personal soap was taken !! Plastic cups were not replaced. Second day all my toilettes were moved to a different place and no water or chocolate. I think house keeping should be constant but no real complaints - when a hotel is so good you have to look deeper and find little things to improve on .....

Well done Ibis Styles - you sure have STYLE and wonderful staff ! Thank you !

I stayed in this hotel for a few nights in July 2016 while the football was on.
The staff are friendly and helpful, check in and out was easy and they were also able to provide me with directions to stores and restaurants.
The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was OK

Clean hotel, rooms are on the smaller size, but manageable. Breakfast, close walking distance to the train. Came during the Euro 2016, so the environment may be a bit different than what you would normally experience :)

We stayed in June at this hotel
The Manager of this hotel made us feel very welcome.
She was also very hard working but at the same time working with a smile

The breakfast is excellent and all included in the price with plenty of choices including fresh fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange Juice

There is a tea and coffee area in the foyer as well as water available for guests. They keep the pastries from breakfast for the use of guests later in the day which is a very nice touch.

The Rooms in this Ibis styles are very well designed with plenty of nicely designed shelving and plenty of sockets, specially next to bedside tables which are generally missing from most hotels.

There is also a nicely designed small shelf for charging your phone etc with a charger next to it. Someone has put in a lot of though in designing these rooms

The bathroom and shower are well designed. The towels could have been a little better quality for the Styles Brand but they were fine.

For Ibis styles the toilet tissues should have been of better quality, which would be my only complain for this hotel.

There are some rooms which can be closed off by an extra door if you are staying with kids/family so you have a two room suite - essentially

All is all a very pleasant stay

Can't say much about Marseille itself but if you are coming here this is a good midrange option with car parking on the road possible which is where we left our car for the time we were here and used public transport.

There is metro nearby and bus stops close to the hotel

Answer from Ibis T
MARSEILLE1 contribution

Gil G.
