I stayed one night in this hotel. My room was reasonably spacious, but not outstanding in terms of comfort and amenity. Reception staff were excellent, giving me restaurant suggestions which proved to be reliable, and the clearest instructions about navigating my car into the car

Nothing special. All I can say is the check in/check out staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel was not busy and because of the prices, we chose not to eat or drink here. They say the hotel is 5 minutes from the station which is a €15 taxi ride. They could do themselves a f

Dear guest, I am delighted that you have appreciated the efficiency and availability of our staff and the proximity of the old port. Indeed, we do not have a shuttle, however, it is possible to take it from the station Saint Charles. I hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you on a future visit to Marseille. Kind regards,

We, a young professional couple in our 30s, stayed at the Mercure for three nights (Monday to Thursday). We wanted to be reasonably close to the old port touristy area, but were not inclined to pay the premium to have a port view (the premium is around 100€ per night). We picked

Dear customer, I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay among us and regrets nonetheless that there was a concern in the distribution of towels, I will go back to this information to the housekeeper. Know that in order to act for the environment, we only change the towels when they are on the ground, a sheet in the room explains the operation. As for the air conditioning, I can assure you that there can be no problem of air quality, filter checks take place regularly. I hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you again during a future stay in Marseille.

In my search for parking, I came across onepark fr website which offers Centre Bourse Parking for Hôtel MERCURE MARSEILLE CENTRE VIEUX-PORT. I will not be not staying at Mercure. I will be staying at another Accor hotel nearby. Do I have to be a guest at the Mercure Hotel to take advantage of the offer or can anyone book it and have it validated at the front desk? Thank you.
I( had booked in 2016 at the Ibis but wasn't happy with the parking at the nearby car park. I looked around and booked instead into the Mercure, a bit extreme but we were carrying some equipment that I wanted to leave in the car. The Mercure car park is part of a public car park but you go into a special section that is gated. You exit the car park into the shopping mall and find a door straight into the Mercure. We have been back to the Mercure since, a very good hotel, I lost money on the switch, but do not regret it.

I’ve been told the front of the hotel is not very safe where as the back is. What is meant by this? Can someone help me to understand why it is not safe, I’m worried now!
I didn’t have any issues when I was there, a lot of Marseille is quite run down but the hotel is right next to a Main Street and shopping centre which are both well lit areas at night

Hi, we will be arriving to your hotel on Aug.10th, from airport. Is there a bus or metro to your hotel. What would be best to do and any special number bus or metro? Thank you! Sharon
hi - take the bus from the Airport to the Station - from there is is a 10 min walk - or you can swap onto the Metro and get off at the Old Port and it is a 2 min walk from there
