Tis was recommended by a friend. We decided to use a car and stay here in valbonne. Valbonne area is very chic, well heeled and has a great range of restaurants. Also has many choices of antiques. Place has no fridge but very well appointed and beats the tourist ghetto in Nice. Happy to stay here. They cannot do more for...

I had been recommended the Bastide by several colleagues, as we have an office nearby. When my daughter was transferred to that office my wife and I decided to take her there and stay over for a while. It was a great decision. The hotel is lovely. We had a pool-facing room, which I recommend highly. It was clean, elegant...

We are so pleased we booked La Bastide de Valbonne for our short stay in this area. Extrememly comfortable and excellent service by charming staff. The rooms are on the small side and we chose room overlooking the pool with a small terrace. No refrigerator which was a small problem. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next...

The hotel has decent rooms (get one facing the pool, or else the other rooms face the street). They were the kindest, most accommodating people. The hotel is small, and family run. It has a good location and is very quiet. I stayed there this past weekend in the off season, and they accommodated all our requests and were so...

We stayed for three nights with two small children and had an overall very nice experience. The hotel is charming and has nice facilities. The staff is very friendly and we felt very welcome. You need to have a car to stay in this hotel since only Valbonne is in walking distance of the hotel. We had booked the cheapest...

I stayed in this hotel with friends in September. The pool area is gorgeous! As is the living communal area. We booked a Twin Room with Terrace, the same as our friend. We were in 107, she had 115. Her room was about a third bigger than ours, with a huge bathroom with a bath and a power shower. Our...

Very nice hotel where you feel like if you were visiting friends, all the rooms are around the swimming pool and very comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional but they only serve light and cold lunch and dinner during the season. The owner are very present and friendly. Great value for money.

What should have been a pleasant stopover in an attractive hotel was ruined by poor customer service. We booked a double room with child bed directly by email but were surprised to be given a twin. Even if there had been a misunderstanding with our request the hotel should have made it clear at the time of reservation that it...

This is a beautiful, well appointed smallish hotel with canopy beds (in our room, at least), a pool and lounges to relax, and exceptionally friendly/helpful staff close enough to the coast to be a short ride and worlds away when you want to relax. Highly recommended.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Romantic and unique. However, we booked a double room, only to be given a twin. When we asked for a double, we were told the hotel was full, and that a twin is the same as a double. We were also told that we should have specified separately that we wanted a double....
