I travel a lot and so it happened I had to leave my girlfriend behind and go on a long business trip to Africa. It was her birthday and she went to spend it in Nice with a friend of hers. Gentleman at the Reception Mr Kinan Ayache was extremely helpful in arranging bouquet delivery and payment processing without any...

A very nice place to be in Nice. A small room without see view was disappointing but some satisfying breakfast with pancakes was optimizing this nice stay directly at the famous promenade in Nice. I just can recommend this hotel for some short stay in Venice right next to the Casino and Hard Rock Cafe because of a very comfortable...

We've stayed at different hotels on the French cote d'azur, and this time we picked Le Royal. Yes, not for any other particular reason than on Promenad des Anglais and closer to the old city than others. We enjoyed our stay just for that reason, not for lack of service, nor for the utterly poor, inadequate breakfast (coffee-machine, out of...

I stayed one night for business in Nice and decided to stay at Le Royal. The location is great and the price quality is outstanding. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and it looks like they have been renovated not so long ago. Air-conditioned and a separate remote to control the temperature in the bathroom. WIFI is good...

Really love the strategic location of this hotel. From the window of the hotel, you can have a fantastic view of the beach front... Fabulous... Lots of cafes and restaurant along the road and it's about 15 mins walk to the local market...It's also a 5 mins taxi ride from the railway station. The tourist shopping street is just a...

Le Royal ...avec Fromage! My first visit to the cote d'azure back in 97 I'd come to Medam in Cannes to try and sign a Record deal with a Japanese record company . The Asia stock market crash put pay to that and the deal never happened. However my disappointment soon dissipated as I was seduced by my surroundings. From...

The hotel is in a perfect location. The architecture is nice and conspicuous as opposed the floors which need a renovation. The hotel staff are kind. You miss the absence of a fridge and,a kettle in your room. . The breakfast is meager. WIFI is good but it's annoying that you have to sign in frequently.

The staff were helpful and any complaint attended to. One concern is the fire safety, the maids leave the fire doors propped open when cleaning a corridor. The mid corridor fire doors are always open, never closed at night. We had a fire alarm one night and only a few guests responded, the night porter had no clue what to...

We chose Le Royal for its proximity to Messena Square, just a walk to all the fun of the carnival without the inconvenience of thousands of people under the balcony. We had a sea facing room on the first floor, perfect for our needs. The place would benefit from an injection of creativity and cash in the interior styling. The...
