We stayed at the hotel with friends and all agreed the hotel is well located and close to all amenities and ideal for a short break. It has a nice reception and lounge area. The staff our very helpful and reception staff were exceptionally helpful and speak very good english. The hotel is clean but the rooms are very small...

Hotel Regence is on a popular street in Nice. It's makes for a nice quiet stroll in the morning as shops are opening up, but comes to life at night with street artists and restaurants. It is conveniently placed, about a 3 minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais but a longer walk from the Chateau and Vieux Nice (10-15...

Spent a good amount of time digging through this website for a hotel and settled on Regence. My wife and I were both very pleased. I'd say most of what is written here is correct. The location is very good - we walked everywhere except to Cimiez to see the Matisse museum, but even then the bus was close by...

We stayed for a week and do agree about it being value for money, great central location, friendly and helpful staff and clean. However, DO NOT accept rooms that are over the side alleyway!! The noise from a restaurant's storage area is horrendous starting from 6am with trolleys rolled up and down the alley etc! and going on til after...

My friend and I got a great last minute price for hotel Regence and for that price the hotel was ok. I wouldn't pay any higher price though. Have to say that the location couldn't be better, it's in the center of the Rue Massena where all the nice cafés and little shops are. It is a bit touristic street,...

My husband and I (NO WE ARE NOT ROYALTY!!) stayed here for ten days at the start of October 2008 and were not disappointed. So central, which is such a bonus in the evening, so many lovely places to eat out or just have a drink and you feel almost like a local, wondeful. The hotel itself was lovely, such...

Stayed 4 nights end of October. Family had stayed before and read reviews before booking . All you need for a short break. Spent one night at front , some noise but not unbearable. Asked to move to rear-no problem - very quiet. Location is fantastic and staff very friendly. Very clean , though shower grouting poor. Carpets, bed covers...

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October, and found the hotel excellent. It is rated 2 star, but I felt deserved more. The reception staff were helpful, and , although they spoke fluent English, were happy to help me with my French. I stayed with my 2 daughters, and elderly wheelchair using mother. The rooms were very small,...
