I wouldn't return to this hotel, there was no atmosphere and has limited facilities although there was a free safe in the room, I found it to be just like a good bedsit, I paid breakfast with hotel & although had good coffee & cheese & rolls a few more bits 'that was it' but a paid breakfast outside on... Hotel is in a great location which is its saving grace. The staff wasn't overly friendly and when we asked for 2 extra towels (we only had 2 and I have long hair so I require 2 for myself), we got barked at and told "they are not for the sea" The next day after housekeeping came, they took away... You are on top of everything here shops, bars restaurants and only a short walk away from the train station to Monte Carlo, Monaco. Promenade is nice and locals are helpful, cheap flight from London and you could be in the south of France in no time at all

This hotel is excellently located and has recently been refurbished, so it is a pity that the poor understanding of customer service at this hotel lets it down. One woman at reception was reasonably pleasant and helpful, but another young woman was rude and unhelpful preferring to do the minimum and instead surf the net on her computer. The young... More

The previous review is spot on. The location is excellent, you can get to any place of significance from here, 14 minutes to the train stations, 5-10 minutes to Place Massena, 10-15 minutes to the old town and 10 minutes to the beach. Getting to the hotel from the airport is easy as well, airport bus 98 stops at Congres stop... More

There are three things that stand out about the Regence. The first is the convenient location. It is walking distance from anything that matters, including restaurants, beaches, public squares and bike racks for the city's cycle scheme. The second is the excellent bed we had, large, firm, good sheets and a surprisingly quiet night's sleep considering the location. The third... More

The location is perfect: right in the middle of the shops, cafés, restaurants and close to the boulevard. We had a superior room at the back of the hotel, which was quiet, clean, and spacious. It's nothing fancy, but a comfortable and convenient choice. No fridge or watercooker though.

The Hotel Regence is located perfectly in the midst of shops and restaurants, is only a few blocks from the beach and is within a nice walk from the old city. The room was comfortable and clean. The only drawback is that it is on a pedestrian only street after 11 AM. If you arrive after11, you will be dragging... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, and it was a very good choice. The rooms are a bit outdated, but for the price and location it can't be beat. You are right on the main pedestrian street with restaurants, cafes, etc. - and a nice nightlife.
